Certainement un très bel endroit mais on a fait demi tour. Certe il n y avait plus de place au campsite avec ablution privative mais nous proposer le même prix juste pour un pk spot, c est leur droit mais on trouve vraiment pas cela correcte.
Un endroit merveilleux pour nous est un endroit top mais aussi avec des pratiques correctes

Best private airfield of our trip. Wonderfully friendly host. Excellent food. Perfect choice for first stop in Namibia.

Great camp ground, we camped, but got a tented spot without paying extra, nice with extra space and a nice bedroom.
On the game grounds right outside the gate you could get close both cheetah and giraf.
We had dinner in the restaurant, very nice course dinner, a bit pricy, but with that location it was OK.
Bring warm cloth in the vinter the night are cold up there, we had -4.

Lovely lodge with oasis like feel on the deserts edge with their own floodlit watering hole. Basic rooms look a bit small. Opt for a Superior Suite. Game Park attached offers game drives. Small swimming pool and large dining area.

Heaven on earth

Beautiful place so nice we went back to camp there again on the way home. Could not have been more helpful, restaurant dinner was outstanding. Private bathroom fabulous, lots of hot water and grassed site.

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte durante il viaggio in Namibia ad agosto 2023.
La struttura si trova in posizione molto tranquilla, al limite del Kalahari, e si raggiunge dopo alcuni km di sterrato ben percorribile. Bellissima la hall ed i servizi comuni, il grande giardino, il lago e soprattutto la grande pozza dove è possibile avvistare al tramonto alcuni animali selvaggi. Sdrai disponibili e piscina. Le stanze si trovano in varie posizioni, ma sono tutte con ingresso indipendente. Ampie, carine e ben arredate. Colazione ottima nella sala ristorante interna. Prezzo un po' alto per la media degli alloggi sella zona. Organizzano varie attività di safari tra cui l'incontro con i ghepardi, che consiglio vivamente di fare.

Il lodge è molto bello e curatissimo, con una bellissima pozza. Immaginavo fosse molto più caotico invece a maggio eravamo in solo 5-6 coppie, di cui solo noi abbiamo partecipato al sundowner drive. La cena e la colazione erano ottimi.

Bei dieser Bewertung sind wir hin und hergerissen. Wir haben die Honeymoon Suite mit dem Whirlpool gebucht und wollten uns bei diesem Namibia Urlaub etwas gönnen - Diese Unterkunft sollte der sogenannte Höhenpunkt sein.

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, die Dame am Schalter war sehr lieb und hat uns freundlich mit einem Willkommensdrink empfangen. Das Zimmer ist sehr gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Bett mit dem Moskitonetz ist sehr romantisch und bequem. Das Badezimmer ist auf den ersten Blick sehr grosszüzig, leider gab es nur ca. 5 Minuten warm Wasser. Dabei ist dieses Zimmer auf Spa ausgerichtet.

Das Wasser im Whirpool war bei der Ankunft leider kalt. Als wir dies gemeldet haben, kamen einige Monteure und haben herumgeschraubt und gemeint, dass in einer Stunde der Pool genutzt werden könnte. Nach drei Stunden gingen wir wieder am Empfang und erneut musste ein Monteur vorbeikommen. Nach geschlagenen 7 Stunden konnten wir den Whirlpool endlich nutzen. Die Liegen konnten nicht benutzt werden, da diese ebenfalls defekt waren. Eine Reduktion aufgrund des defekten Whirpool gab es leider nicht.

Abendessen: Grundsätzlich sehr hübsch gedeckt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr schüchtern und machen einen sehr ängstlichen Eindruck. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass die Mitarbeiter schlecht behandelt werden.

Das angepriesene Wasserloch erwies sich leider auf einen Reinfall. Es wurden viele Tiere (u.a. Giraffen, Nashörner) angepriesen und beworben. Wir waren über 24h dort und haben "lediglich" um ca. 22.00 Uhr ein Sprinkgbock und ein Oryx gesehen. Das Wasserloch haben wir stundenlang beobachtet und es sind keine Tiere gekommen. Die Angestellten haben vermittelt, dass ein Game Drive gebucht werden müsste. Diese war überteuert und ist keinesfalls empfehlenswert. Das Angebot zur Gepardenfütterung fanden wir ebenfalls nicht sehr tierfreundlich und keinesfalls angebracht.

Das Frühstück ist eher spärlich. Da mein Partner und ich keinen Kaffee trinken, wollten wir eine heisse Schokolade bestellen. Dies hätte zusätzlich gekostet! Obwohl wir das teuerste Zimmer gebucht hatten. Auf der übrigen Namibiareise mussten wir bei keiner Unterkunft etwas zusätzlich bezahlen, ausser den übrigen Softgetränken, was auch völlig in Ordnung ist.

Fazit: Auf den ersten Blick macht es einen tollen Eindruck, wir würden diese Lodge jedoch nicht weiterempfehlen. In Namibia gibt es weitaus herzlichere, freundlichere und gemütlichere Lodges.

Wir waren Tagesgäste, haben dort Lunch, Café, Gamedrive und Dinner genossen. Wunderschönes Ambiente, sehr freundliches Personal.
Sehr gutes Essen. Zimner haben wir nicht gesehen, andere Gäste haben berichtet.

Dir Lapa Lange Game Lodge ist ein wunderbar grüne Oase mitten in der Wüste, einige Km vor Mariental. Wir haben eine Nacht auf der Campsite geschlafen. Im Restaurant bekamen wir zum Abendessen ein ganz hervorragendes Dreigängemenü.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön gestaltet und das Personal total freundlich. Beim Check-Out haben wir eine Sonnenbrille gesucht und 3 Leute haben sofort alles auf den Kopf gestellt, um uns zu helfen. Abends kann man schön am Wasserloch sitzen und mit etwas Glück einige Tiere beobachten. Der von der Lodge organisierte Game Drive hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen.

They deserve 10 stars in my opinion. Beautiful, beautiful - did I say beautiful? Great food, best wine, awesome ambience, and overall excellent experience. I loved my little tent too. Just sorry about uprooting those witgatbome alongside the airstrip. ????

Beautiful place

Netter Start der Namibia Rundreise... allerdings eher zurückhaltender Service bei der Zimmerauswahl.

Our first stop on a round trip thru Nam. After long flights and dust road driving we ended up at this oasis with green gardens and a wild animals drinking pond (big one). We saw the white rinos, ostriches, springboks, wildebeest and a lot of birds.. a lot.. all we could see in a beautiful sunset from our porch with a cigar and cocktails from the bar..

The service is outstanding and Juliana laughs a lot..

The food.. I tell you I'm not easy to be impressed but I would come back only for the food.. that same counts for the breakfast.. umpf I didn't want to leave..

Of course you can do a lot of activities, but we were so happy just to relax and watch the wildlife and of course spend some time with Olive the attention seeking doggy..

I didn't like the automated lawnmower with scary eyes at night and that the rooms were quite dark, but both had their purpose. The pool was not to my liking. It seemed to be in a wrong position and did not look nice in the entire environment..

They have chalets, tents, campsites.. check it out..

Wir sind eine Gruppe von 14 Leuten und reisen mit worldinsight und würden am 24.10.22 vom Personal bestohlen. Ca 800 Euro wurden aus dem Zimmern geklaut.

Sehr schönes Charlet direkt am Wasserloch, excelente Küche, super freundlicher Service, Natur pur. Ein Stern fehlt wegen der nahen Straße, die aber nicht sehr doll gestört hat....

Beaut8ful Lodge in the Namib Desert very friendly and efficient staff and any request was no trouble to them especially Thelma whom I must mention. The owners were lovely and oversaw the very efficient running of the lodge. Lovely place for the early game drive and we saw 2 White Rhino Ostridge and chick's a very handsome Fox Wilderbeast and Eland. Lots of Birdlip. All this ended with The Sundowner watching the sunset and the moon rising. With glasses of fizz and snakeroos What a perfect ending to a perfect day at Lapa Lange Game reserve and the highlight came the following morning when we met Chica and Merlot in their huge peñ and perfect conditions as they had been rescued from birth and adopted annd hend reared when their mother lost her life. An experience never to have been missed. It felt like magic.

Unterkunft prima, allerdings wäre eine Tür zum Bad hilfreich und Moskitonetze erforderlich. Die Anlage ist ein Traum, das Wasserloch von Rhino bis Oryx gut besucht.
