Situé au pied des pistes de la station Grand Valira à El Tarter, l'hôtel Llop Gris vous accueille dans un cadre privilégié pour la pratique de sports outdoor, tant en été qu'en hiver. Les chambres, bien équipées, offrent une belle vue sur la montagne, la rivière ou les toits. On trouve en outre ici une belle piscine intérieure chauffée, un sauna, un bain à remous, de grands salons de lecture ainsi qu’un bar et un très bon restaurant. En hiver, l'établissement loue du matériel de ski et snowboard. Les animaux de compagnie sont par ailleurs bienvenus !

Our room was the garden room which is very sizeable and comfortable with a king bed, a bunk bed and another single bed.
There is an underground garage but I had some problems with my car (a Mercedes Vito bus), the first time I went in I scratched it against the wall as it's a quite narrow turn. When I came out I managed to do it, so it is possible but it is hard.
Other parking options are six spaces belonging to the hotel (often full) and yellow boxes near the hotel (including the actual ski lift car park belinging to the Grandvalira lift operator. Apparently these are ok but there are no clear signings either way.
Another option is parking in the village across the roundabout which is free at night (and then potentially move it during the day to the Grandvalira car park or elsewhere).
I stupidly parked my car in a no parking zone and got clamped, only to be released later. All not the hotel's fault but I am putting this out as information for guests who may not want to use the underground car park.
So overall a very nice stay and fully recommended. Great value for money. Only reason for four instead of five stars is that the hotel itself is a little dated but this does not detract from the overall enjoyable stay.
