En invierno está cerrado. Pero puedes aparcar. Tip viajero: aparca aquí y dúchate, baño y hot tub en la piscina municipal del pueblo por 5€. Para más consejos viajeros sígueme en instagram @jesscomitre

Bon emplacement dans Vik côté collines. Acceuil sympathique. Sanitaires nickels. Cependant, la salle commune n'est pas chauffée (ni isolée) il y faisait quasiment aussi froid que dehors (sans le vent). Bref pour ceux qui viennent surtout pour dîner au chaud en hors saison (fin octobre pour notre cas) c'est un peu dommage. Je comprends pourquoi le lieu ferme dès novembre.

I really like this place. Located very near to the town vik. They charged me 15 € for a night stay. We have to drop three 100 isk coins to take the shower. Also remember they close the kitchen area at sharp 9 pm and open again at morning 8 am.

Camping fermé en hiver mais possibilité d’y rester pour la nuit sur les emplacements, des toilettes sont accessibles au Krónan à côté (ouvert de 9h à 21h)

Nos quedamos aquí un par de noches y no terminamos de entender las malas críticas, el camping está genial ubicado, tiene una sala en la que poder cocinar y los baños y duchas están limpios. Es de los campings más grandes en los que estuvimos y había bastante gente pero no habia que esperar una eternidad para la ducha tampoco.

Tried going there on november 9th, closed for winter. Toilets locked, big comunal area and kitchen, also locked. Talked to the attendant on a coffee bus next to the camping, said some people stay over night and use the bathroom at the supermarket. We saw some people were staying but decided to go to the next town.

Casi no vamos por las malas críticas que leímos , pero la verdad es que nos gusto mucho el camping.
La recepcionista española era un encanto y nos ayudo en todo.
Las duchas son 300 isk y van a parte , ella nos proporciono las monedas.
La zona común de fregaderos y mesas esta muy bien , pero por poner una pega , es cierto que estaría bien que tuviera calefacción porque se nota mucho los meses de otoño/invierno.

Great camp site for our van for 1 night last week! Bathrooms were heated with several stalls, and the indoor table area was also really nice and spacious (with lots of windows). We didn’t use the showers so we can’t comment. We paid the following morning as we arrived late the evening before. We’d gladly come back!

Un bon camping se trouvant au cœur de vik ! Très pratique pour passer la nuit en ville et aller voir les différents restaurant.

Super camping calme et accueillant avec un espace commun pour cuisiner.
Le seul bémol sont les douches payantes (300isk) communes ! Mais les sanitaires étaient propres ce qui a été très appréciable.

Me ha gustado mucho!!
Nos ha gustado mucho este camping. La recepcionista española, muy atenta.
Mucho sitio para aparcar y novelado todo. La zona común muy amplia. Los baños muy limpios, las duchas de pago (300 ISK por persona) 5 min.

No es normal que en un país que se alcanzan temperaturas bajo cero no haya calefacción ni iluminación en la zona de comedor-cocina. Además las duchas funcionan con monedas, habiendo pagado ya un precio por alojamiento más extra por electricidad. Se aprovechan de ser el único camping de la zona.

Nos ha gustado mucho este camping. La recepcionista española, muy maja :) las plazas para la furgo correctas. La zona común muy amplia. Los baños muy limpios, las duchas de pago (300 ISK por persona) 5 min. Repetiría.

Worst camping in our stay in Iceland. Shared area has no heating and barely has light. Also showers not included in the price. Also crowded. Also no kitchen which basically means you pay for nothing.

We absolutely loved this campsite! From all of the campsites we stayed at in Iceland this was by far the most convenient and clean. I was so impressed by how clean the common areas were kept by staff. The campsite check in was very easy and friendly, we didn’t use the kitchen area but it looked great. There is also wonderful coffee shop directly behind the site for those chilly mornings!

Campsite is pretty good and toilets/showers renovated recently and clean. The showers however have absolutely no dividers between them. It’s like a 40s boarding school shower where you all stare at each other. To top off this horrendous and archaic shower design you have to PAY for the privilege of having your privacy absconded from you (in my home country you can commit a crime and have a prison shower for free).
As a side note if you do have a shower just remember not to drop the soap.

Camping perfectamente ubicado en la salida de vik dirección al glaciar. Zona muy amplia que se puede aprovechar con el buen tiempo. Está ubicado justo a 5 minutos caminando de una gasolinera y de un supermercado y varias tiendas y restaurantes alrededor. El personal del camping es excepcional, súper amables y nos ayudaron mucho, nos explicaron varias rutas que podíamos hacer al volver hacia la capital. Nosotros hicimos dos noches y estamos súper contentos. La zona común es muy grande y se puede cocinar dentro de ella, con una vitro que tienen o con tu propio camping gas. La limpieza la tienen constantemente cuidada, ves todo el rato al personal limpiando y limpiando. Sin duda, si vuelvo por aquí repetiría sin problema.
Para más información decir que las duchas son de pago, 5 mins de agua caliente y precio por persona 2000isk con una camper sin electricidad.
El personal es español, se agradece mucho!!

Το βράδυ δεν είχε καθόλου φώτα στο παρκιν με κίνδυνο να χτυπήσεις, τα ντουζ και οι τουαλέτες ήταν καθαρά αλλά για 5 λεπτά μπάνιο πληρώνεις 300 isk και περιμέναμε πολύ ώρα για να μπορούμε να αγοράσουμε κέρματα για να κάνουμε ντουζ. Στην κουζίνα δεν είχε θέρμανση και καθόλου παροχές

The campground is well kept and has beautiful views. It is very clean and looks to be recently remodeled. BUT, you have to pay for your shower, you get 5 minutes of hot water for 300 isk, it’s just a room with 4 shower heads, and even though the sign says the showers are closed from 10pm to 8am, when we asked the woman maintaining the grounds she said the showers are only open from 5pm until 10pm. I would just expect to not shower if you stay here.

Una ubicación perfecta para un precioso camping. El personal muy amable y atento, Alicia es encantadora y nos ayudó mucho. Las instalaciones cuidadas y muy limpias, Electricidad genial (para mí importante porque viajo en invierno y con mi hijo) los baños grandes y con servicio de lavandería, comedor espacioso y la cocina bien equipada. La experiencia ha sido de 10. Super recomendable.

La zona para comer es de las más amplias que hemos visto. Sin embargo, la organización no es buena. Ya que parece un parking público. Habíamos pagado electricidad y nos costó encontrar una toma.

Loved this camping site! For the beautiful views, the small hills for the kids to play on, the open and spacious dining facility, the fresh & clean bathrooms, the playground that even had a little black sand pit. It was a well-kept facility that included all one needs as a camper. Although crowded it still felt like we had our own space and it was in a great location. Close to shops and a grocery store.

Oui il y avait du monde mais c'est peut être parce que se camping le mérite ! La plage a 5 minutes à pied, un lieu parfaitement entretenu (douche/WC) tarif correct pour la qualité (j'ai payé plus dans d'autres camping pour moins que ça), la dame qui s'occupait de tout ça était adorable et gardait le lieu impeccable et puis une soirée d'aurore boréales pour rendre le tout Inoubliable

Campsite is decent, but really crowded. you have to pay for the showers even if you pay to camp. The showers have no privacy and are literally 4 shower heads in one room with nothing separating you from other campers. If you decide to camp here and enjoy having privacy in the shower I would not recommend paying for a shower.

The best camping we found in the south, the area is covered with green grass with a nice view over the mountains and a close proximity of Kronan supermarket and some nice restaurants. We spent there two nights, it was a good base to see all of the south.
There’s a common kitchen area when you can get hot water, cook with your own gear and wash it, the bathrooms are clean and nice and so are the showers. 5 min of a shower is 300 ISK and you get the coins for it at the reception. The place is managed by lovely Spanish people and you can order some wifi and electricity at the reception between 7 am and 10 pm. Same with showers so if you want a shower make sure to make it to the campsite between those hours.
No crowd in September, plenty of space to choose from. Hope to be back some day! ☺️
