UNA VERGÜENZA!! NO RESERVÉIS ESTE HOTEL!!!
Nos cancelaron la reserva de 2 noches a una familia de 5 personas, apenas 1h antes de hacer el check-in, por overbooking.
Parece ser que es su forma habitual de trabajar, cancelan y revenden habitaciones. Había otra familia a la que le habían hecho lo mismo.

Nos ofrecieron ir a dormir a un hotel a 60kms en medio de la nada sólo por una noche y luego ya verían donde nos reubicaban.
Conseguimos hablar con el manager y ahí realmente fuimos conscientes del desorden y avaricia de este hotel.

***Afortunadamente encontramos un Airbnb precioso que recomiendo infinitamente: Gaddstadir Cabin 28, la dueña se llama Lilja, es encantadora y la casa maravillosa!! -Julio 2023-

ESTÁ CERRADO!! Acabamos de llegar y nos encontramos todo apagado y un cartel informando que está cerrado desde el 16 de octubre.. Pusimos que pagaríamos en el hotel y nos lo cobraron antes, en septiembre. Por lo que parece, no han informado a booking del cierre. Surrealista...

Got scammed by this hotel. Booked via agoda 5 months ago, read the review, everything seems nice.

When we arrived, there’s nothing. No people, door locked with police seal. People from the gas station next door said it happened a lot, people come to the hotel to find a closed hotel. Local people said it closed around 3 months ago because the owner didn’t pay taxes, wages, and anything else, so the police stepped in.

The worst thing is that you still can book the hotel even though it’s closed.

Réservation annulée 2 jours avant notre arrivée par un simple message. Depuis plus aucunes réponses et encore moins de remboursement à l’horizon.. après avoir contacter booking et selon des avis précédents cet hôtel pratique le surbooking donc fuyez celui-ci si vous ne voulez pas vous retrouver en galère d’hôtel une fois sur place

LAMENTABLE! Teníamos la reserva para hoy (25 de diciembre) desde hacía unos 6 meses. Hemos llegado y estaba cerrado por la policía, al parecer desde hace tiempo.
Nadie contesta al teléfono de contacto. Al menos, hemos conseguido reservar otro lugar de última hora para pasar la noche que era de -7°C.
Nadie se ha puesto en contacto con nosotros.

No puedo poner reseña del hotel porque hemos llegado y está precintado por la policia. Nefasto servicio que no avisen a sus clientes.

Tienen el número de teléfono y NO RESPONDEN. Salta el contestador.

Sois unos estafadores y lo hemos comunicado a Booking.

NIE RRZERWUJ!!
Zarezerwowałam i opłaciłam przez booking nocleg 4 miesiące temu . W dniu zameldowania dostałam informację o odwołaniu rezerwacji z powodu cofnięcia uprawnień do prowadzenia działalności.
Brak kontaktu z obsługą hotelu. Nie odpisują na wiadomości.
Pozostaje czekać na zwrot kosztów.

We book our stay here for 3 nights but ended going after 2 nights and drove to Keflavik, I found that the hotel is very old, our room is a bit small, the chairs looks like in the 40's, the closet smells old wood. washroom is not that clean. I would say this hotel would be more qualified as a museum rather than a hotel. We had 1 complimentary breakfast for our first day and the follwing days was cancelled due to food supply delivery problem as we were informed. There is no complimentary coffee,tea and kettle as normal hotel does, No elevator or help even to bring your luggage on the second floor. The hotel is near on tourist spot like falls. Overall this hotel needs a major renovation.

My opinion is the same as in the boooking aplication. Hotel has nice and bad things. We don't regret that we chose this hotel. There was a specific description in the application, most of which was consistent with the actual situation. The worst was waiting several weeks for my bookingu message, contact was difficult. Location is the best plus.

We booked the hotel due to a sudden road closure and we couldn't get to our intended hotel. It didn't disappoint us. However, there is nothing to shout about. It's a very basic room with basic bath. The facilities works but that's it. TBH, it's a very old hotel. Still uses an old school key to lock and unlock. No auto close. You need to make sure you put in the key to lock and unlock, everytime. Room is quiet enough for a good night sleep. Overall, it's a fair deal.

Son unos listos, o cómo le quieran decir.
Te muestran un precio en Booking, te cobran lo antes posible y luego cuando llegas te dicen que no has pagado y que no tienen habitaciones disponibles.
Tienen a un tipo que no ha superado la adolescencia en la recepción, el perfecto personaje, para decirte que no le importa que haya overbooking, que el teléfono no está en servicio y que el correo no lo contestan. Esto en un supuesto país "Desarrollado" deja mucho que desear. Se hacen ricos timando a la gente y arruinando sus vacaciones.

Do NOT give this hotel your credit card info. They charged me double what they were supposed to through booking. They have refused to respond to a single message from me over that platform for over a month. Called Booking support and they haven't even been able to get a hold of this property to rectify the situation. Scam property. Do not trust. Do not go here. They'll say they respond I got the receipts that they don't. Booking says they respond within 24 hours but it's been a month and a half with zero response through the booking platform.

Hôtel qui aurait besoin d'être rénové. Propreté correcte mais petit déjeuner peu varié. Il est par contre pratique si vous visiter l'ouest et le sud. Pas de restaurant dans l'hôtel mais aux alentours.
