Been coming here for years. Great location, friendly helpful staff and good food. Always our base in Courmayeur.

Great hotel and friendly staff. We came here for a ski weekend and really enjoyed our visit. The breakfast was delicious and the location is perfect for those wanting to be close to the cute town area also very close to the cable car up to the main ski area. I highly recommend a stay here!

I am yet not sure whether I ended up in a “torture site” or in a mountains hotel…

1. UNBEARABLE NOISE/DISTURBANCE FELT LIKE A NOISE/SOUND TORTURE -> NO SLEEP/NO RELAX: there was two sources of noise/disturbance that will NOT allow you to sleep and that the reception/reservations Marika will hide from you even if you ask:

1.a. ROAD: The road in front of the hotel is extremely noisy as it is the main artery that crosses Courmayeur and the windows’ frames are ZERO INSULATING;

1.b. BUILDING WORKS: They are building a brand new building next-door (i.e. in the plot of land just amattressdjacent to the hotel) hence the noise and disturbance is unbearable from 7am to 5pm;

2. JAIL LIKE MATTRESSES WRAPPED IN ANTI-PEEING PLASTIC SHEET FELT LIKE SLEEPING ON A TORTURE BED -> NO SLEEP: they use 1 cm thick mattresses that most likely were bought at a jail dismantling auction, that are wrapped with a plastic anti-peeing sheet that make them as comfortable as a mental hospital mattress…

3. COLD WATER SHOWER/AFTER-SKIING BATH FELT LIKE A COLD SHOWER TORTURE -> NO RELAX/NO COMFORT: to save money they keep the central heating thermostat very low so that your hot water will NEVER be hot and NOT EVEN warm…

4. DRIPPING SHOWER HEAD FELT LIKE A CHINESE WATER TORTURE/DRIPPING MACHINE -> NO SLEEP/NO RELAX: the shower head kept dripping water very loudly so that I could not sleep…

5. AGGRESSIVE AND UNPLEASANT STAFF FELT LIKE MENTAL TORTURE:

5.a. Marika who did not bother mentioning neither the road noise nor the building works when I booked over the phone, turned very very aggressive when I politely complained and told me that I could go and look for another hotel;

5.b. The night porter told me that I was a “ball buster” when at 7:00 am I complained because there was not hot water.

6. AT CHECK-OUT THEY TRIED TO MAKE ME PAY 11.11 % MORE THAN WHAT THEY HAD TOLD ME OVER THE PHONE: notwithstanding all of the above, and instead of offering a discount for the troubles/hassles, at check-out they tried to charge me 11.11% more than what Marike had said over the phone….

Ottimo soggiorno, torneremo

Tre giorni in agosto in suite famigliare (2 adulti + 2 bambini). Hotel davvero confortevole, piscina e spa molto gradite, cucina ottima, varia, con meraviglioso carrello dei formaggi alla fine. Applauso al pasticcere, tra dessert della sera e colazione di mattina non saprei cosa fosse meglio!
Ci abbiamo lasciato il cuore.
Unico piccolo difetto: poco parcheggio (gratuito), abbiamo usato il garage a pagamento per scarsità di posti lungo la strada (in agosto c'è davvero molta gente in zona).

Camera tripla ampia con balconcino e comodo secondo bagno con lavandino e wc.
Tutto molto pulito ma la moquette non si può più vedere nel 2023.

Colazione buona sia dolce che salata da migliorare però la caffetteria.
Servizio in sala elegante e gentile, da vero 4 stelle ma non posso dire altrettanto delle portate servite a cena.
In due sere non è mai stato offerto nulla della tradizione locale, nemmeno pietanze montanare in generale.
Piatti sempliciotti e decisamente troppo salati.
Persino alcuni biscotti sono risultati troppo salati.

Piscina grande e piacevolmente calda ma in alcuni punti mostra i segni della sua età. Nessun lettino dove rilassarsi, solo delle sedie di plastica bianche.
Vasca idromassaggio rotta.
Sauna e palestra belli. Buono il servizio di asciugamani all'ingresso della piscina.

Parcheggio privato antistante gratuito.
Da un hotel di livello mi aspetto che di fronte a gente maleducata che si prende due dei pochi posti si intervenga, per far parcheggiare correttamente tutti gli ospiti, invece anche se fatto notare... nulla. Ci è stato solo offerto il garage a pagamento.
Non ci siamo!
