My stay at Casa Chameleon in Las Catalina, Costa Rica, was amazing! It's a place where nature and delicious food come together perfectly. The resort is modern and luxurious, surrounded by beautiful untouched nature, making it a cozy and welcoming spot.

Sentido Norte Restaurant has stunning Pacific Ocean views at sunset. They serve tasty dishes made from local ingredients that highlight Costa Rica's unique nature and culture. Each dish is like a piece of art, showing the country's lively spirit.

Chef Jose Lopez takes you on a fun adventure to the local parts of town to explore and learn where the fresh ingredients come from. Talking to the chefs, you can feel their love for making tasty and sustainable food with deep roots in tradition.

The journey ends at La Pampa Grill, where you can enjoy the rustic charm of Costa Rica in every bite. They cook locally-sourced meats and veggies on the grill, showcasing the country's simple yet flavorful cuisine.

Casa Chameleon in Las Catalina isn't just a vacation spot; it's a journey that connects Costa Rican culture, food, and nature. With breathtaking views, delicious food, and friendly service, Las Catalina is a place where every sight is like a postcard, and the memories stick with you long after you leave.

The views are amazing!! No doubt about that. We went on our honeymoon though and had previously stayed at Amor Arenal before heading here. The treatment was completely different from Amor to Casa. No one was rude to us at Casa it just felt a little lackluster for the amount you pay. Vs Amor where it’s a total dream. Staff is out of this world. There were definitely some nice servers at Casa but overall we felt awkward. We also were given a room at the bottom of the cliff so anytime we left our room we were sweating by the time we got to the top. Its like 3 flights of stairs zig zagging the cliff! We also had raccoons which we were warned of. However, they started fighting with each other which was concerning so we had to shew them off and lock the doors. Kinda cute, kinda not. The food was also subpar and overpriced, especially compared to the amazing artfully crafted food at Amor Arenal which was worth the money. Next time we go to the coast we will be looking for somewhere else to try unfortunately.

1) This was a very well deserved vacation after the long hours my wife and I put in work throughout the year.
2) I want to thank Alonzo from his promptness at picking us up at the airport, to helping bring us to the resort over the underdeveloped route to the wonderful resort. I also want to thank him for showing us through out the local areas and helping us explore whatever we wanted to. A total gentleman and we had a great time.
3) Maria at reception was very receptive and got us a very secluded and serene room with all amenities and a private plunge pool overlooking the ocean.
4) Due to my inflated ego, I can be a pain to deal with, but I want to thank Alejandra and Marely for making all my reservations happen with the finest meals the country had to offer. Even when such reservations were hard for dinner or to view the sunset over the coast from the most prime seating.
5) Dahianna never had anything short of a smile on her face and went out of her way over a variety meals over many days to make sure everything was prefect and with total respect. If only people in Texas were that polite and caring when it came to provide service.
6) Scarleth was helpful in providing us with details regarding our meals and making the proper adjustments with promptness so we were able to enjoy out meals without any issues.
7) Hector and Bryan took care of our transportation between the local cities and whenever it came to dealing with the room service without any complaints and in making sure we never felt ignored or forgotten, considering our lack of mobile service.

All in all, I cannot wait to come back in the future. Everyone and everything was perfect.

I was booked for a stay here and couldn’t wait to experience the beautiful property for my birthday. Unfortunately, despite making the trip to Costa Rica, I was denied entry due to circumstances out of my control and detained for over twelve hours. Despite my numerous attempts to explain the unfortunate circumstances to hotel management, I was repeatedly denied a refund request.

It's disheartening to experience such inflexibility and lack of understanding from a hospitality establishment. A situation like mine, where entry into the country was denied, is something that could happen to any traveler despite careful planning.

I believe that in cases of genuine and documented circumstances preventing a guest from staying, a more empathetic and customer-oriented approach should be taken. Unfortunately, my experience with Casa Chameleon did not reflect this, leaving me not only disappointed but also financially burdened due to the loss of the booking amount.

I hope that Casa Chameleon reconsiders its policies and adopts a more compassionate stance towards unforeseen situations like mine in the future, as it truly impacts a guest's perception and overall satisfaction with the establishment.

Arrived here following a disappointing experience at a nearby resort. The entire team truly understands service and you are given the royal treatment the moment you step from your car. Spectacular grounds, pool, and incredible food. A must!

Everything has exceeded my expectations. The concierge was extremely helpful before we arrived by booking transfers, massages, sunset drinks, and dinners. The entire staff went above and beyond at all times during our stay.

Las Catalinas is a small town with a few restaurants, shops, and a grocery store that’s just a few minutes away by golf cart.

Be sure to check out Grotto 12 wine pairing dinner. It’s a private 5 course wine paired dinner in the wine cellar. Our entire stay couldn’t have been more relaxing and enjoyable. I can’t recommend it enough.

Great experience and location. The entire staff do an amazing job. From the minute you arrive they treat you like royalty. The food was great and prepared with fresh local ingredients. The most incredible views that you can not appreciate until you are on location. We will be back again as soon as possible.
