Beware of checkout. Demand a copy of the bill at checkout. Refused to give us one and said they email it. We were back home when it came. We’re billed over 4,000.00 to our card and it was under 2,000. Very sketchy compared to the other resorts we stayed at in Costa Rica. Will not be going back

You do need transport to the town. A bus runs hourly but not at 4 pm??and stops at 9pm
...you can get taxi back but they are hard to find.. Needs to be more frequent and several times was In sufficient seats, although did do an unscheduled return trip food is ok but restricted options mean bored after twice eating there.staff were warm and welcoming, rooms clean and pool fabulous
Hotel gives access to beach club... lovely place, good drinks and food reasonably priced...good access to beach and shade available and lots of monkeys to observe. Toilets clean.

Overall this was great! They aren’t right on the beach but they have a private beach you have free access too. It’s wonderful. The breakfast buffet is just okay and they don’t allow you to take a coffee or tea or any drink for that matter to go from the buffet. The bathroom is very small and the shower didn’t get hot.

El hotel es muy limpio, bonito, tiene hermosa vista, el desayuno es bueno, tiene una linda piscina y la habitación muy confortable.

it was better than I thought! Fantastic coffee, service, rooms, living room, bathrooms, pool and the best was the view!

Toutes les chambres ont vue sur l'océan. Chambres propres, bien équipées, spacieuses mais salle de bain exiguë. Très bon petit déjeuner. Superbe piscine à débordement. Parking gratuit et WiFi dans tout l'hôtel. Le + : une navette gratuite toutes les heures pour le centre ville. Je recommande cet endroit.

Fabulous views from hotel and pool across the bay.
Difficult to find hotel unless you know where it is - through a rough service road and building site.
Service very good. Breakfasts were very poor compared to similar hotels.

Beautiful place with great views. Rooms are plenty big, and bed was comfortable. A/C and refrigerator included. We only ate at the restaurant during breakfast, which was a buffet. Abundance of hot and cold options. We found Jeffery, a restaurant employee, to have a "go out of your way" mentality so he earned a mention in this review. Just an all-around great guy.
We did not have an opportunity to use the pool, but it's big and well-kept with a swim up bar and a great view of the Pacific Ocean.

Rooms are great, food Excellent, Service top notch. Beach club very nice offers horseback riding . Best part of our trip was the Wyndham Hotel.

Estuvimos 4 noches, es un hotel de tres estrellas a nivel de identificación turística por ICT, no significa malo, si tengo que juzgar toda la experiencia de 5 pongo 4. Tamarindo 2023 esta dentro los destinos más costoso para nacionales y extranjeros y la calidad es mediocre o no se si era por ser temporada baja pero la alimentación es mediocre me refiero a la zona así que en el hotel puedes consumir y el precio es incluso más económico una langosta en una playa $100 y el hotel $30 mas tax, y posiblemente ambos del mismo proveedor que no es fresca. La habitación es muy básica pero tiene lo necesario y en las especificaciones y fotografías donde compras esta claro lo vale por las vistas, seguridad, es un sitio que tiene todo ahí, también la joya ???? que tiene el hotel es el club de playa en la playa con gym, piscina, acceso a restaurantes y bar, organizado, limpio, no ruidoso, y la playa en las afueras hay unas chicas que hacen masaje son fatales si te haces piensa que estas dando contribución y listo no pertenecen al hotel ni al club $40p/p, en el club y hotel si tienen pero desconozco si son buenas lo ideal es previo hacer conversión como solo hablar y ver si tienen años o meses en esa labor que es común en Tamarindo. El menú de Tamarindo Wyndham es básico y pequeño para ser más de 100 habitaciones, y no mantiene un standar entre plato y plato osea nos pedimos un mismo plato varias veces y variaba en su preparación, el desayuno es bien pero calidad básica un día no había en el Buffet huevo revuelto SOLO FRITO y lo solicite y me indicaron con cargo, en realidad es básica y el cocinero le falta creatividad y técnicas .
La cama fantástica y te hacen la limpieza diaria como debe hacerse siempre dejo una propina buena el primer día un día previo de salir o según juzgue y pueda. Los jóvenes de recepción buen inglés y buena información. Destacó a Leonel , Evelyn en el salón (a todos brinda un buenos días amablemente y está atenta) la otra joven de cabello rubio debe ser capacitada poco tacto, seria, y parece que le es fastidio aunque hace su labor, personal que está atento al acomodó de vehículos están super bien atentos y listos para organizar. Nuevamente no te pierdas el Club de playa.

Loved our stay here. Beautiful hotel with breathtaking views. Only complaint was Adrian from the wet bar, after staying here 3 days and consuming all meals and drinks here, when asking for a glass of water, we were told that we should purchase something instead of asking for the “free” glass of water. I was in total shock when we heard this and definitely “ruined” the beautiful stay we were having. A glass of ice cold water should not be denied to everyone, specially customers utilizing its facilities for the past 3 days. It’s a shame on their poor customer service.

This was our first stay in Costa Rica which started 9/2/23. On the initial drive-up the hotel is open air style. The lobby decor is very appealing & fits the countries vibes. Check-in was easy, our room was spotless & had plenty of walking space. The view is breathtaking to the ocean. The free breakfast is a good variety & delicious. The shuttle is comfy & timely bringing guests down to the main city. Lastly, the cliffside pool can't be beat. Watching the sunset in it was the highlight of our stay!

La meilleure partie de mon expérience a été le service de Jeffrey, notre serveur. Il était attentif, sympathique et professionnel. Il a su nous satisfaire et nous assister pour toute demande et besoin. Il nous a fait sentir les bienvenus et à l'aise. Je recommande vivement cet endroit et Jeffrey comme serveur. Quel excellent service supplémentaire également au beach club Langosta !!!

Bel endroit où séjourner, superbes vues sur l'océan, navette toutes les heures pour aller en ville si nécessaire et piscine à débordement avec bar également disponible. Il y a un raccourci jusqu'à la plage mais la route n'est pas géniale et n'est pas éclairée.

Un peu irritant de devoir attendre pour s'enregistrer à 15 heures et traîner. Irritations mineures liées au fait que la machine à glace ne fonctionnait pas et il semblait que la demande de glace au bar avait été oubliée, mais la réception était sympathique et serviable.

Le petit déjeuner était bon et il variait un peu aussi chaque jour. Pas de salle de sport mais il y en a une bonne au pied de la colline. Superbes vues depuis les balcons des chambres, on dirait que tout le monde a une vue sur la mer. un chat d'hôtel sympathique ???? aussi.

L'attention de l'hôtel une fois parti est dommage. Ils m'ont facturé un montant pour le minibar, que nous n'avons PAS consommé. Je l'ai vu sur mon compte une fois dans mon pays, je ne pouvais donc pas le réclamer en personne et je n'avais pas d'autre choix que de le faire par écrit. J'ai écrit à l'hôtel de plusieurs manières (par différents emails, par site internet...) et à ce jour nous n'avons toujours AUCUNE explication. Cela me semble terrible qu'ils vous facturent quelque chose que vous n'avez PAS consommé et qu'ils se « lavent les mains » lorsqu'on leur demande des explications. Le service client est dommage.

L'hôtel offre sans aucun doute la plus belle vue de tout Tamarindo. L'hôtel est moderne, sophistiqué et élégant. L'hôtel propose un petit-déjeuner buffet et le restaurant Nautica propose un merveilleux menu. De plus, l'hôtel propose un service de transport vers la ville. Hautement recommandé

Il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude dans la chambre pendant la semaine où j'y étais. Le restaurant était bon.

Superbe vue, calme, mignon, belle piscine et ambiance décontractée. Endroit parfait pour s'évader et se détendre. Une navette vous emmènera à une plage privée reliée à la plage publique. C'est vraiment génial, je déteste devoir partager ce secret
