What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service provided by server Mario. From the moment we sat down he was attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. He recommended the perfect wine pairing and gave several recommendations about other places to visit on Hvar.
At the end of the pier with an enviable view out to the Pakleni Islands, it is perfect at sunset.
We had the octopus skewers, which were beautifully cooked, followed by the fish of the day - sea bream simply grilled with vegetables and truffle mash, expertly prepared by our waiter Mario.
A lovely bottle of Stina Vugava completed the meal.
Altogether an excellent night .

Osoblje je ljubazno, svi su bili izuzetvo divni. Ovom prilikom bih izdvojila jednu čarobnicu iz sveta vina, to je somelijerka Sabina. Njene preporuke za domaća vina su nam dodatno ulepšale ugođaj.

The food was OK, and I would warn people that there are much better options around the city. The service was the main issue. The server was responsive and attentive (he helped us pick out a nice wine) up until the mains came out. We ordered the duck and the steak, both dishes were very tough pieces of meat ($40-$60 euro entrees). Half of the steak was inedible because it was tendon — sure, this can happen but typically not at a fine dining restaurant. The server must have picked up we weren’t enjoying our mains as that’s when the service truly ended.
When the server did eventually come around to ask about our food, he didn’t apologize or even acknowledge our experience when we commented on the meat being tough. He did take the time to ask for a tip as it wasn’t included in the bill. I wouldn’t recommend the place for a meal.
The food is amazing and the atmosphere is romantic.
Tatjana was serving us and the service was impeccable! Haven't had such a pleasant and helpful waitress in a long while!!
Definitely worth a visit.
Much better than neighboring overrated restaurants.
They do take AMEX which is a rare in restaurants in Croatia!
My only comment would be that they could add a few more seafood platters to the menu!
We were at Don Quijote celebrating our engagement and it was a beautiful night ????
The food was wonderful and the local wine also very good. Everything was very fresh and delicious, an experience of flavors! My favorite dish was the ravioli with lobster, fish and of course the dessert! ????????????
