This hotel was an okay option for a frequent traveler as I looked for proximity to manhattan and Astoria. No frills, but had a cool aesthetic and a small gym. Unfortunately I believe it is closed, as the phone is never answered and emails to support are bouncing.

I didn’t book this, someone else did for me because I don’t think I would have ever chose to stay here regardless the price. Check in was so complicated and didn’t make sense from the person explaining behind the front desk.
The hotel looks abandoned. There are zero services available. No restaurant, no bar, no nothing. It’s all there but none of it is open and functioning. Why you need to leave a deposit for incidentals is beyond me since there is literally nothing you can spend it on. Want something? There is nothing around the hotel but you can get some snacks at the vending machines on the 4th floor. How pedestrian.

I’ve stayed here several times. Do not book here. This is a fraudulent business! Maybe a criminal front for something. They charged my credit card $1075 just this week, almost a year after I stayed there . I called the number listed here and on the hotel website and someone just answers, says they went out of business, and hangs up.

The room I got was small, lack of basic amenities, and not clean. There’s no fridge and microwave in the room. Shampoo, conditioner, and lotion provided was extremely tiny and it was a used half filled shampoo from the previous person! Hair dryer was missing and I found a ball of really disgusting looking hair on my bed sheet!!! The bed and the pillows were so stiff that made my back hurt the next day. For the price I paid, which is almost 250, it is definitely not worth it!!! Staff and housekeeping need to do a better job and this place need some serious upgrades for their rooms!

My recent experience at The Collective Paper Factory in New York City was quite underwhelming. Despite traveling from Los Angeles, we were disappointed with the overall quality of our stay. The customer service left much to be desired, as we felt neglected and unattended to. The beds were uncomfortable, despite attempts to rectify the issue. Additionally, the room cleanliness was subpar, with essential amenities missing. Overall, our stay at The Collective Paper Factory fell short of our expectations, and I cannot confidently recommend this hotel based on the unsatisfactory experience we had.

PATHETIC PATHETIC AND PATHETIC. IF IN LIFE SOMEONE WAS TO TEST MY PATIENCE TO THE WORST EXTREME, IT WAS THE PAPER FACTORY (SO CALLED HOTEL) WHO SUCCEEDED IN DOING SO. THEY WERE KIND ENOUGH TO DENY US A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP TOOOO.

Wish there was zero star.. worst Customer service ever received. We had booked our room for 5 nights gladly we got off .. asked to meet the manger to resolve our issue . The reception advised to look for another hotel instead. All ladies available at reception seems like they had a bad day going on . Doesn’t mean you should remove on the paying customer.. right from Patricia in morning to the 2 ladies who were available in evening who refuses to give their names. Hope the owners are aware what’s happening there . As we weren’t the only one who had issues.. if you love being insulted without any reason, do go ahead.. otherwise do not waste your money and time.
