Idéal pour un séjour avec un bébé, personnel très sympathique et toujours à l’écoute afin de respecter au mieux nos demandes.
Nous n’avons jamais été déçus et nous avons hâte de revenir.
Mention spéciale à Delores pour sa gentillesse chaque jour, ainsi que Adesh le sommelier, qui a très bien su nous conseiller.

Fantastisches Hotel, das kaum Wünsche übrig lässt.
Wir waren nach der Komplettsanierung im Oktober 2023 vor Ort. Wir hatten wirklich nichts zu bemängeln. Gut, die Preise (auch für die Getränke vor Ort) sind mehr als gehoben, aber bei Buchung dieser Hotelkategorie sollte man wissen, worauf man sich einlässt.
Ansonsten kann man sich nur bei dem unglaublich netten Personal bedanken. Von den Servicekräften bis hin zum Hoteldirektor, einfach fantastisch. Es wirkte alles sehr freundlich und nicht künstlich aufgesetzt. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass die Mitarbeiter wirklich gerne in dem Hotel arbeiten. Danke dafür!
Die Anlage ist ein Traum. Schöner Pool- und Gartenbereich, direkt angrenzender, feiner und heller Sandstrand mit neuen Liegen. Die gesamte Außen- und Innenanlage ist sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Das Hotel besticht durch seine Familienfreundlichkeit. Es wird nahezu alles dafür getan, dass es auch den Kleinen gut geht.
Das Buffet ist traumhaft. Frisch gekochte (tlw. Live Cooking), unglaublich leckere Speisen, die an verschiedenen Stationen ausgegeben werden, sodass eine Entzerrung der Gäste stattfindet. Keine langen Wartezeiten und Gedränge. Durchdacht und gut! Dazu ein separater Kinder-Bereich, bei dem kindergerechtes Essen angeboten wird (Fischstäbchen, Chicken Nuggets, Erbsen, Mais, ....), dem auch wir manchmal nicht widerstehen konnten ;)
Die Zimmer sind groß und gut eingerichtet. Es hat an Nichts gefehlt und wir hatten auch zu dritt (2 Erwachsene und ein Kind) in dem Standardzimmer mehr als genug Platz.
Auch das Wassersportangebot ist top: Wasserski ist ebenso kostenfrei wie Windsurfen, Kajak-/SUP-Ausleihe oder das Segeln. Super Angebot und total freundliches Personal.

Wir waren im Anschluss im La Pirogue, qualitativ kein Vergleich bei gleichem Preis. Das Lux Belle Mare ist eine grandiose Adresse für einen (Luxus-)Urlaub auf Mauritius!

Ce Lux Belle Mare rénové (réouverture en octobre 2023 !) est une pure merveille, on frôle la perfection hôtelière… chambres élégantes et spacieuses, service réactif et sympathique, restaurants excellents, nombreuses activités pour grands et petits : un quasi sans-faute ! Seul regret : que les anciens produits de bain/douche à la citronnelle des Maldives aient été remplacés par des savons sans intérêt et prônant le véganisme, alors que les restaurants vendent du bœuf Wagyu et des T-Bones : petite contradiction ;)

PS : même si l’hôtel est encore en « rodage », il serait bon que son réseau d’assainissement dégage rapidement moins d’odeurs désagréables…

Wir waren ein Woche in dem Hotel auf unserer Hochzeitsreise, hier unser Eindruck kurz zusammengefasst:
+ Sehr sauberes, neu renoviertes Hotel
+ Strand wird regelmäßig von angespülten Algen und Seegras gesäubert, somit sehr gepflegt, sauber mit glasklarem Wasser!!
+ fantastisches Buffet, Morgens und Abends mit frischen Produkten und top Qualität, auch zwei Restaurants sind sehr zu empfehlen
+ Unser Zimmer (junior Suite) war sehr geräumig, und mit der Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet
+ sehr freundliches Personal, höflich und zuvorkommend. Absolut 5 Sterne würdig!!!
+ Strand ist wie eine Lagune aus dem Bilderbuch
+ No Plastic ist das Motto, es entsteht kaum Müll, alles nachhaltig durchdacht

- eher Familienhotel als für Honeymoon geeignet, da überwiegen Familien mit Kindern Gäste waren und somit immer was los war.

- leider ist das Meer nicht zum schnorcheln oder schwimmen geeignet da es nicht tief genug ist, größtenteils Knietief, bei Ebbe verschwindet es fast komplett, muss kein Minuspunkt sein eher informativ. Trotzdem glasklares Wasser!

- größtenteils werden die Liegen von den Gästen schon früh morgens reserviert, obwohl tagsüber dann keiner die Liegen nutzt nur teilweise. Nachdem wir dies angesprochen haben, ist dieses Problem bekannt aber lässt sich anscheinend nicht vermeiden.

Insgesamt aber ein Traum.

The hotel has just recently reopened, and it looks amazing, although you can tell they are still working on it. Some minor issues arise, which are normal in brand new rooms and facilities. Soon it will look even better.

The first impression was not good. We had a bad check in experience: the assigned room was not the correct one, and the person who assisted us at first was not very well informed about the hotel, facilities or restaurant opening hours. However, when we explained these issues to the management, they were promptly solved and actions taken.

All personnel, without exception, went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Special thanks to Rajesh at the Concierge Desk, Praveen at the Reception and Mr. Hecker, the Director, for all their help. The person at the Villas´ area of the beach (I´m sorry I don´t remember his name!) is absolutely exceptional and made our stay even better, always kind and attentive. Very special thanks to him. The same applies to the butlers and the villa manager.

The beach is probably one of the best in Mauritius (if not the best). Food is very good, we didn´t try the Chinese, but the other restaurants have a very high food quality. I recommend the All Inclusive package, which includes everything except for the Indian and Chinese restaurants, although you´d receive a 30% discount on them.

The main (and only) pool is very large, heated and beautiful. You can rest, swim or do whatever you want. If you travel with kids they will enjoy it very much, while not disturbing solo travelers or couples without kids as there is space enough for everyone.

The hotel offers a large number of "pop ups and surprises" and there is an experience for everyone. They also offer a wide range of excursions, both private and in group, which we can recommend. They are not cheap, but absolutely worth the money!

If you can afford it, take a villa! They are all absolutely amazing. We will certainly come back as soon as we can!

Wonderful beach, hotel and exceptional service

I was planning to book this hotel and contacted them twice with queries I had before making the reservation. They never bothered to even acknowledge or reply to my messages. I’ve now booked with another hotel instead. If Lux Belle Mare put so little effort into providing good customer service before you’ve booked with them, then I don’t want to see the poor level of service they’d offer during a stay.

My husband and I had a fantastic time at this beautiful hotel. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was attentive and friendly, the rooms beautifully designed, and the beach and ocean were simply stunning.
We can't wait to go back!

Good place to spend some quality time and have great experiences no doubts , BUT one thing I observed was how many times my partner and I got very uncomfortable when we are in a space with many ‘whites people’. Apparently We were the only black guest during our stay and it wasn’t a good experience for us all. First, We couldn’t use the pool due to how we were being looked at, we got to the ice cream place and the people there had to move far away from us. And then at the spar, the lady suggested that i sit in different room apart from the reception where other people were being received and seated with no genuine excuses, but I guess they wanted to attend to their most important guests first, so I sat there for about 2 hrs before I was brought in back when everyone had left only to be told again that I’ll not be having a massage and the pedicure because I didn’t inform them earlier so I had only my fingernails done . The whole experience was too uncomfortable that we got really worried and had to leave. Sadly that was my first time in Mauritius and might be my last. Lux Belle mare gave me a totally bad impression about the country. Belle mare is a nice place with beautiful rooms and clean environment but I wouldn’t recommend it for a black person like me. Thanks.

We has the most amazing time at Lux Belle Mare. My boyfriend took me here for my 25th birthday in June 2022 and it was the most memorable trip. From the minute we arrived, we could not believe the most wholesome treatment we received. The staff really make the place what it is and deserve every piece of recognition. The most humble hospitality, it was beyond what we could imagine. If we could list every staff member we truly would! But special shout out to Elvis, Bilal, Oliver, Sahil, Mohan, Beedyasee, Vikash, Ravin and especially Veena and Jennifer!
The staff did all they could to make my birthday celebrations extra special by organising a birthday breakfast and cocktail making, and a stunning dinner at Amari.
The rooms are stunning, the beaches are stunning. Beautiful water and white clean sand! Plenty of choice for food and the versatility of the buffet is the best you will have.

We will DEFINITELY be back one day!!

Fantástico resort de LUX* estratégicamente situado, que lamentablemente sufrió un trágico incendio que quemó gran parte del resort. Actualmente en fase de reconstrucción y apertura prevista para finales de 2023.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön gelegen, mit perfekten Sandstrand und unbezahlbar gutem Service. Wir waren bereits mehrfach dort, und ich liebe den Blick mittags von der Bar auf das Meer und den wunderschönen Strand. Wir kommen gerne wieder.. ????????????????????????

Eines der besten Hotels weltweit in denen ich eingekehrt bin.

Nice hotel to relax

Ein wunderschönes Luxus Hotel. Wir waren im Juni für 10 Tage hier. Klasse Service, tolles Essen, wunderschöner Strand. Drei abgetrennte Strandbereiche in dem jeder Platz für sich zum entspannen gefunden hat. Mehrere Restaurants standen für das Mittagessen sowie für das Abendessen zur Verfügung.
Täglich wurde sich um die Hotelanlage gekümmert, von Dreck oder Schmutz, war nichts zu sehen. Am liebsten wären wir gar nicht abgereist.

J'y suis aller petit et j'ai passer un super moment piscine plage un super hôtel de super chambres . je ne me souviens plus du service et du repas mais je conseil cette hôtel .

Un hotel de Luxe avec des prestations impeccables et un buffet Gargantuesque pour le 1er de l'an et carrément une tente sur la plage avec un super groupe top malgré une clientèle un peu guindée !

There was a fire in this hotel on July 2nd 2022, hotel mostly burnt down and it is now closed for the renovation. Nobody was hurt, and all hotel guests were relocated to nearby hotels.
