Abbiamo soggiornato per 9 notti in questo favoloso resort. Con la formula all inclusive la scelta di cibo e bevande è molto varia e di ottima qualità, con possibilità anche di richiedere lunch box se non si è in struttura per il pranzo. C'è un ottimo servizio bar sia per il consumo ai tavolini sia stando sui lettini perchè passano continuamente a chiedere se si gradisce qualcosa. Il check out è sempre alle ore 12 ma ti danno la possibilità di rimanere in struttura e sfruttare la formula all inclusive fino a che non si parte per l'aeroporto, con anche a disposizione doccia e asciugamani. Alla reseption un ringraziamento particolare a Samantha che oltre a parlare molto bene italiano è anche gentile e super disponibile per qualsiasi informazione.

Très belle hôtel l'emplacement est super la plage magnifique et le service nickel.

We went in mid October 2023 we stayed in a Seaview room. All inclusive
I've read other reviews stating the hotel is tired I would say the hotel was being upgraded as we stayed shabby chic is more accurate.
Service is very good the rooms were cleaned well the mini bar stocked up day and my diet needs were accommodated on request.
The restaurants were lovely breakfast was broad and lots of choice.
The food has a mauritius tinge in indigo even on other themes but its well cooked chips and mcdonald fans maybe not for you.
The roti is king for me also the ladies all cooked the omelette s the best ????
The special meals in la plange and dolce were a joy.
Clean pools and very clean beach friendly helpful beach activity team.
Lots of sun beds waiter service dependent on who was working thatday.
You will be bothered by sellers on the beach and by the pool selling clothes trips and tut.
Not too pushy but will leave when you say no.
Shop in hotel is very expensive compared to the UK. But the quality is good.
Taxi drivers booked by the hotel will try to take you to factory shops and street food saying no is a very good idea you will be ripped off.
I thought the hotel is lovely and would stay again its a good 4 star hotel with mainly friendly very helpful staff.

Wir waren diesen Juli im Ambre Hotel auf Mauritius. Anfangs gab es ein paar Probleme mit dem Zimmer, aber das überaus freundliche Personal hat sich sofort um unser Anliegen gekümmert und wir haben ein neues Zimmer erhalten, welches wirklich wunderschön war. Die Anlage war sehr groß und sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Besonders die deutschsprachige Mitarbeiterin Saskia hat sich immer um uns gekümmert, war sehr nett und hat uns bei Fragen oder Problemen geholfen. Der Strand und das Wasser waren traumhaft. Die drei Restaurants im Hotel haben alle eine hervorragende Küche! Wir haben auch ein paar Runden Golf im Golfclub Ile aux Cerfs gespielt, welcher ebenfalls wunderschön war. Auch der Ausflug in den Casela Nationalpark war sehr interessant und hat eine Menge Spaß gemacht! Abschließend kann man sagen, dass wir das Ambre Hotel auf Mauritius sehr empfehlen können. Wir werden in der Zukunft bestimmt wieder nach Mauritius reisen.

Do not stay here if you value the welfare of dogs. One of the best things about our visit here in July was the dogs who sat with us during the day, it was lovely. We took care of them, fed and offered them water. When they tried to sit with us at dinner (they didn’t annoy anyone, beg or snatch food- just sat for company) the staff tried to get them away by shooting them with a water gun. The other things I have heard about what they do to the dogs are awful and for this reason I will not return.

I was here in June I have to say Mauritius itself is unbelievable but due to the treatment of the poor dogs this hotel needs a lot of work on how to care for animals! Not one staff member filled there bowls with water whilst we were there the dogs had to rely on the guest in the hotel. One of the main reasons on why I enjoyed my trip so much was due to the dogs I absolutely fell in love and especially being an animal lover but seeing how the staff here treat them is a disgrace and due to that I will not be returning!

Rekommenderar inte detta hotell om du ömmar för hundar och katter. Frivilligorganisationer tar hand om mat , sterilisering och all veterinärvård och ändå provocerar personalen hundarna som är på stranden och har MSAW att fånga hundarna med nät.
Om jag besöker Mauritius igen så ska det vara ett hotell som kan garantera ”animal welfare”.

Stayed at the Ambre in January 2019 and the highlight of our holiday were the beautiful beach dogs that stayed with us for the whole of our holiday. Upon our return I looked into how the dogs were looked after and realised that Mauritius and the Ambre Hotel treat these beautiful dogs horrifically and regularly have them removed and killed. If you are an animal lover please do not visit this hotel or the island as while we keep visiting them they will keep murdering them! We need to boycott Mauritius until they realise they cannot treat animals in this way.

This hotel is lovely and worth a visit. I dont agree how they treat the stray dogs which are cared for by locals and extremely friendly. The hotel has no empathy when it comes to these dogs. 99% of people who stay their experience is enhanced by these animals who just want love. They are completely harmless and if anything would be the main reason to return. What happened with Bluu and chase is disgraceful. I would not return knowing how they view these animals. All of the dogs are extremely friendly and loving and have very good temperaments. Safe around kids aswell. Even people with fear of dogs will leave ambre loving them and looking to get one themselves. FREE BLU AND CHASE! Dogs need love and not to be encaged and treated like less then life. Please continue feeding and showing appreciation for the dogs. They have good hearts.

Wir sind total begeistert vom Ambre. So einen schönen und erholsamen Aufenthalt in einem Hotel hatten wir noch nie.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.
Die Zimmer haben einen schönen Ausblick auf den indischen Ozean. Die gesamte Hotelanlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Essen in allen Restaurants ist hervorragend.
Wir können diese Hotel zu 100% weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne mal wieder.
