Détail du séjour : 3 Day Masai Mara Shared Group Safari - 3 jours

Jour 1: NAIROBI – MASAI MARA (Appx: 265kms- 5-6 hrs)

Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner.

06:00 – 07:30 hrs. – Your driver/guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or residence. Should you be arriving on an early morning flight, we’ll arrange for your airport pickup.

08:00 hrs. With our group all set, we’ll head out to the Masai Mara National Reserve. We’ll be traveling through Masai country, exploring the floor of the Great Rift Valley.

We’ll progress to the Mara, taking in local homesteads and perhaps Maasai herdsmen in their colorful wraps, tending to their cattle.

We’ll stop during our journey to stretch and admire the scenic drama of the Rift Valley escarpment.

Arriving at the Masai Mara in the afternoon, we’ll have plenty of time for our first game drive over the savannah of this beautiful park, with its many iconic acacia trees punctuating the landscape.

This rich and diverse eco-system offers the most wildlife of any park in the region so be ready for plenty of animal spotting.

Jour 2: FULL DAY AT THE MASAI MARA

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

This will be a day of unlimited game drives for your group. Explore the depth and breadth of the most famous park in the world.

Sightings of the Big Five are not uncommon so keep an eye out for lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino.

Your group will have an opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, site of the Great Migration when in season – July through October. The immense herds of wildebeest and zebra are a magnificent sight, matched only by the drama of the predators who lie in wait for them.

At the river, we’ll see hippos but also camouflaged in their natural habitat we’ll spot the many crocodiles awaiting the wildlife traversing the river. This is a spectacle that has played out for millennia.

To bring more texture to your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional events we offer. Experience a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village. Meet these indigenous people and see up close their ancient lifestyle and culture.

Want an unforgettable sight? Take a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah and witness the herds of wildlife emerging into the day. Your driver/guide can arrange either of these optional excursions.

Our final safari night will be at your choice of the Mara Sopa Lodge, Olmoran Tented Camp, Mara Chui Camp or Mara Enkorok Camp.

Jour 3: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI (265 kms- 5-6 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch.

We’ll all be up early and jump into the 4 x 4 Jeep to make the most of our final day in the park. If you haven’t already spotted hyena, cheetah, jackal or any of the larger wildlife, now’s a good time to add them to your list.

After breakfast, we’ll enjoy one more final game drive through the Masai Mara on our way to exiting the park.

We’ll head back to Nairobi, again taking in the scenic wonder of the Rift Valley escarpment, with a stop for lunch along the way.

Compare notes with others in your group – what was the highlight of everyone’s safari?

We should arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, at about 16:30 hrs. (4:30 pm). We’ll then drop you off at your hotel, residence or the airport.

Thanks for joining us on this tour of the world’s most exciting wildlife park. We hope you had as much fun as we did and will think of Natural World Kenya Safaris for your next Africa Safari.
