Grand hôtel en plein centre-ville, situé au bout du corzo (promenade sur rue piétonne). Une partie a été récemment rénovée, l'autre est en cours de travaux. Les chambres sont simples et fonctionnelles ; demandez celles au-dessus de la réception, elles sont décorées de façon assez cosy. L'intérêt de cet hôtel est de vivre immergé dans la bonne société de Nikšić. Il dispose d'un restaurant et d'un bar lounge qui sont assez cossus, avec une décoration aux tons chatoyants. Surtout la meilleure terrasse ombragée de la ville et désormais sa brasserie maison, le Mammut.

The main hotel building was built by a famous architect … however, we stayed in the annex out the back and it felt … authentically socialist. Very basic, narrow beds, old blankets, and we were inexplicably put in a twin room. There was a party in the foyer that ran till midnight and the music and shouting could be easily heard from our room.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. My husband and I arrived late at night and the guy at the desk was very unhelpful. He would not engage with us in translating with the phone, even though we did not speak his language. He gave us the wrong price for the room for the night, which was much higher than what we had booked online. And he refused to accept payment by card, despite the card machine being on the desk and clearly on. He insisted that we pay in cash, which we did not have enough of. We had to go to an ATM nearby and pay extra fees to withdraw money. The whole process took more than an hour and we were exhausted and frustrated. The room was also dirty and noisy, and the bed was uncomfortable. We checked out as soon as possible the next morning and vowed never to come back. This was the worst hotel experience we ever had. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.
