Amazing experience!
My second time with this company. Previous time it was in 2003 and we had a simple tour. This time in July 2023 we took the advance one.
Very well organised and supervised.
The advanced tour requires some sense of working in a team, but does not require previous experience in white water rafting.
The team included two rafts and two kayakers who work as photographers, but most importantly as security in case some one goes overboard.
Team from Nepal, all professionals. Friendly and experienced, thank you!

At the end of the tour you can have a lunch, to be ordered in advance - I recommend you take it, as the meal is very good.

A warm welcome by a sweet dog and nice people. The guide Marc gave us a serious instruction with a lot of humor.

If you want a fun adventure in Iceland look no further. We went out with Tarzan, Hunter, Johannes, & Scotty. Awesome guides who were even able to make safety briefings fun and entertaining as well as educational. Nice balance of whitewater to get your heart pumping and slower stuff to give you time to drink in the gorgeous scenery. A quick stop to refuel with hot chocolate and waffles was an awesome surprise as were the opportunity to surf a rapid and jump off a cliff. A hearty lunch after the trip was the perfect way to end the day.

Nunca antes había hecho rafting, y aunque al principio iba con un poco de miedo por el nivel de la actividad (4 sobre 5), terminó por encantarme.
Cuentan con un equipo de alta calidad, con un nivel de experiencia y seguridad impresionante. Gente sociable, divertida y cercana que, no solo te explican todo lo necesario para tu seguridad y confort durante la actividad (personal extra, vestimenta adecuada, cuerdas de seguridad, etc.), sino que además te animan a vivir la experiencia al máximo (no desvelaré las sorpresas que esconde la actividad).
Nos tocó con el monitor Lucas, un chico encantador y profesional, que sin duda nos hizo disfrutar mucho de la experiencia.
Merece mucho la pena !!

Great company running an amazing section of whitewater. We asked Mark for a rowdy ride and he delivered! Highly recommended for anyone looking to add a unique experience to their travels. The lunch afterward was also delicious!

I had the best time with Mark, Mierto, Anup, Lucas, Hunter, Tarzan, Maude, and Roshan. Their skill and professionalism is unparalleled. The driver Gabby was wonderful to. This trip is among the best in the world!

This is the best activity in Iceland. It's not just any rafting on any river, there are some ICELANDIC MOMENTS. (I won't spread spoilers).
If you and your friends want a more exciting version, your guide will make it happen.
The rafting itself is so much fun, but the attitude of the guides is amazing. They are gentle, humorous. They will make you feel comfortable no matter what kind of person you are.

Marc is THE man! My pal Joe Biden was right to recommend him. Had an amazing experience, lots of action, fun and arctic water for free. Would do it right again! 6 out of 5 stars! TO THE LEFT!1!11

At first sight, it might seem a little expensive. That's what I thought as well but after we went down the river and came back I felt completely satisfied with the money I paid for this experience. The guides are very professional and knowlegable, the river is beautiful and the Whitewater Action option is fun. We had a great time and would definetely recommend this to all the rafting lovers!

Hace más de una semana que hice la experiencia...aún tengo los pelos de punta. Organización de 10. Profesionales nivel experto (hunter), nos explico y nos ayudo para tener un descenso lleno de aventuras y risas. Sus dos compañeros con el kayak nos asistieron cuando "caimos" al rio, cosa que aún nos hizo disfrutar más! agradecer a Bettina la paciencia y la ayuda para hacerlo posible a nivel de gestión!!! Top3 en islandia!!!!

Stunning experience with Viking rafting guys. Everybody's were nice,helpful and funny. After rafting, I recommend to order a food, grab one or two beers and enjoy atmosphere the Viking rafting base.

Absolutely amazing experience. Been rafting in other countries before, this was superior. Super professional. Safety first. Incredible fun. Meal after is worth too and great quality. Last but not least, Maude, our instructor was nothing short of brilliant. 10/10.

My family and I did the East tour with 4+ rapids and it was exciting! So happy to have had a dry suit I was not cold. Viking Rafting is a well oiled machine. You arrive, check-in, get suited up, drive up the river, do some land practice, and then hit the rapids. There is a snack surprise mid way through and it was a great day! Highly recommend, and the meal after was also great.
