Voilà notre dernière trouvaille… et quelle pépite ! La bien nommée Terrasse sur Lazio, c'est avant tout une vue spectaculaire sur l'une des plus belles plages de l'île. Une vue dont on profite depuis la piscine à débordement de cet établissement familial ou depuis les terrasses des 4 appartements parfaitement équipés, d'une cuisine notamment. Mais quel bonheur de se faire servir par la charmante Thérèse une remarquable cuisine créole sur ce balcon sur l’océan ! Si Anse Lazio n’est qu’à 2 minutes de voiture et 15 minutes de marche, la voiture est obligatoire.

✅beautiful view of anse Lazio, big, bright and airy apartment, very quiet and clean. They offer the possibility to have meal, booking it in advance and for an extra, which was served at the apartment and was so delicious and great value (45€ for grilled fish, and plenty of it for two, but there are other options - for breakfast too). They clean the apartment every day except Sunday, which I very much appreciated. Odin is extremely welcoming and friendly, and even if we never met the owner, they’re always responsive.
❌BUT There’s no way to enjoy the island and the stay in general without a car, and I would have appreciated a heads up. The part of the island on which the apartment is located lacks everything (for example, it’s 20 minutes away from the closest place that makes coffee, and when that one is closed there is nothing at a reasonable distance). It’s on top of a hill, and the roads are STEEP. Which means that while anse Lazio is relatively close, it’s not easily accessible to everyone and from this part of the island it requires to hike through a short trail. The same beach has a super easy access on the other side of the island, but it’s a 40 minutes drive. The bed and the pillows are uncomfortable. The wifi is slow at times but functional

2) do NOT follow google maps directions: Instead google map to Constance Limuria and before you get to Constance Limuria, take steep road up on the right, keep going straight, pass two bus stops, keep going (no worries) and you will see it on your left. Luckily owner gave us driving direction on the spot.
3) relatively new accommodations with superb view and responsive helper Odin.
