Hôtel dans un superbe cadre à proximité du Spalentor à Bâle.
L’Hôtel Bildungszentrum 21 est une filiale de l’association évangélique bâloise Mission 21, qui s’implique dans des projets interreligieux et interculturels à Bâle et dans le monde entier. Cette filiation n’empêche en aucun cas d’y retrouver tous les services d’un hôtel standard. L’hôtel séduit tout d’abord par son emplacement, à quelques minutes de marche du Spalentor, dans une belle bâtisse du XIXe siècle. L'hôtel dispose d'un grand parc très agréable. Les chambres, toutes rénovées en 2014, sont spacieuses, chaleureuses et bénéficient de tout le confort. Leur décoration est d'un grand raffinement et d'une belle sobriété. Possibilité d'accéder à la cuisine séparée et à une terrasse (en supplément).

We looked for a kettle in the room, all hotel rooms have a kettle in them, right?
I called reception, they told us it was on 1st floor.
I was waiting for my husband to come back and he said it was located on the 4th floor.
It was a basic kettle (us branded) and a large room with chairs in it. It was all 'organic'.
We went to use the loo, and there were some complimentary things. Like a nail file, not even a toothbrush.
I am on a clinical trial in Switzerland and the doctors there, told me to throw away my toothbrush after 3 days.
I was in the hospital for about 3 days, but the cups were so small that I would've been asking hubby for tea/coffee all the time ????
The eatery was downstairs, outside, down a ramp (2 steep ramps) and they only served food in the morning and lunch.
We called to ask if they did room service, they said no.
We had to call to ask for bigger pillows.
All in all, a shame...from beginning to end. We were thankful that we weren't charged for the full stay. All of this, with a discount from the University Hospital.
