Very good infra, cleaned and well organised.
English speaking staff and very helpfull.
Complimentary Breakfast was also good. Very reasonable rent per night.

Güzel bir deneyimdi. Sabah kahvaltısı da fiyata dahilmiş. Bilmiyordum. Masada süt yoğurt gevrek meyve reçel ve çay vardı. Bu hosteli Öneririm.

This was my first hostel experience ever in my life and it scared me away for a while. That is just one thing the toilet, the bathroom and the kitchen was quite dirty for me and another thing is it doesn’t look like on the pictures, if you look around with a bit more attention, but they had BEDBUGS! It was in my bed and I have seen it in the common area also. On the next morning when we told the stuff they were not surprised at all. But at least we got breakfast and the owner was understanding they gave us a refund and payed for our laundry!

Soggiornare all'ostello Manena è stata un'esperienza incredibile! L'ambiente è accogliente e pulito, il personale è gentile e disponibile, e la posizione è perfetta per esplorare Genova. Le camere sono spaziose e confortevoli, e l'atmosfera è vivace e amichevole. Consiglio vivamente questo ostello a chiunque cerchi un soggiorno economico ma di qualità a Genova."

The place had BEDBUGS. We found them in the bedroom and then it turned out that the bedbugs were also in the common area. The owner did not seem suprised about the bugs when we were getting our refund, so im guessing they have had similar complaints. The place was a bit dirty as well. The location was good though.

Ottimo ostello nel centro di Genova, situato nel quartiere della Maddalena ha camere accoglienti con letti a castello, armadietto personale, bagni funzionali e colazione compresa. Staff molto gentile, il punto forte dell'hotel è la posizione.

Better walk 10 mins furthet to OStellin hostel, which is much nicer for the same price - 22 eur incl 2 eur city tax during the low season

Ostello super economico .
Colazione inclusa con frutta, cereali, latte, succo, merendine, biscotti, ecc.
Dormito in camerata da 12 persone.
Nella stanza sono presenti armadi per zaini lucchettabili basta chiedere in reception.
Disponible qualche gioco di società nella sala comune sempre aperta come la cucina.
Circa 3 bagni tutti con doccia + altra stanza solo lavandini.

Hostel très bien situé et personnel sympa. Un peu bruyant car les chambres sont à côtés de la pièce à vivre mais on peut faire des rencontres

Auberge sympathique et conviviale et très bien placée dans le centre de Gênes.

La propreté des salles de bain pourrait être améliorée mais cela reste tout à fait convenable.

Le point positif est le petit déjeuner inclus dans le tarif de la chambre !

Friendly staff and good location. The rooms are just so so and the bathrooms are in poor repair. Not all bunk beds have the same facilities and if you are unlucky and get the middle top bunk there is almost no place to put things near your bed, nor any privacy. Lower bunks have privacy curtains.

My bf and I went to Genova with not many expectations as for what to do, but we were swept away by the atmosphere in Manena Hostel. It felt like a big family and we often found ourselves staying late in the common room or hanging in the city with everyone until 3am. The staff was amazing and always available, there were three bathrooms for everyone but we made it work very well. It really felt like just a bunch of friends living together. Definitely an experience I will never forget!

all in all: it was a fantastic stay, staff is very nice and helpful, they provide free breakfast and the biggest room, even tho there are 12 beds, was quite spacey and comfy. the location is also good, especially if you wanna catch the bus to go to the main train station. for 8€ they also do laundry for you which worked amazingly. the only complaint i have, which i recognise is not at all the hostels fault and i can only speak for the 12-bed dorm, is that it can get very loud outside late at night and very early in the morning. idk if it was garbage or cleaning trucks or whatever, but even at 1:30am and also from 7am it gets pretty noisy out there. but other than that, fantastic hostel! ps the wifi works very well

It's a small hostel with a very good emplacement ( the old town of Genova) the personal working there are very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the hostel is very good. You can also do the walk tour proposing by the hostel.
Note that you'll not get a Key or badge for the room.

Really good vibes, very helpful staff and very helpful for bagpackers as they give loads of advice. However they do turn off AC at night so was kind of hard to fall asleep in the heat.

Hostel was clean and in a great area. Workers Vanessa, Lauren and Marta were extremely hospitable and very kind.

Absolutely loved it. Its the sister hostel of Victoria House hostel and so the rules are the exact same. The only difference is the building. The hostel is on a lower floor, has more bathrooms and bigger showers. The rooms are great. The staff are great and the atmosphere is great. Its actually quite pleasantly quiet hostel. Highly highly recommended. Plus one of the staff is into mountain biking and i wish i had a chance to meet him.
Only thing i would suggest is when exploring, if you turn right after coming out the hostel door and right again at the bottom of the street, its a seedy area, just avoid that one area after dark if you're a solo female traveller, for ur own safety.

Nice hostel in the heart of the old city and not far from Piazza Ferrari. Always friendly and helpful staff. Sufficient quantity of toilets and washing rooms. Good free Wifi. One minus point for the awful breakfast (mostly cookies and muesli, no bread, no cheese, no meat, no eggs).
