Charmante chambre avec une belle vue, dans un hôtel vintage entre Union Square et Greenwich Village.
On trouve le Walker Hotel entre Union Square et Greenwich Village, idéalement situé donc pour rayonner sur Midtown et Downtown. Les 113 chambres au style suranné type pension parisienne des années 1920 sont certes petites mais, en plus d'être très confortables, elles sont dotées d'un cachet assez séduisant. N'hésitez pas à demander une des chambres des étages supérieurs, d'où la vue est plutôt incroyable. Le personnel est aux petits soins des clients, comme on peut l'attendre dans un hôtel de ce standing. Une adresse vintage très sympathique.

We had a great experience staying in this hotel. The hotel is centrally located, staff is extremely friendly and the bar and restaurant served beverages and food of our liking. We recommend anyone who wants to stay in lower Manhattan to stay in this hotel.

I chose this adorable boutique hotel from a list on TimeOut NY of best boutique hotels. First, the entrance ... so adorable, looks like a brownstone (I prefer small quaint boutique hotels over large commercial type space, just my preference). Then comes the heart and soul of a hotel, the staff! The staff at the Walker Greenwich Village is AMAZING to say the least ... from the front desk when making my reservations over the phone, to checking in, checking out, and every interaction in between ... all were wonderful. They were ALL friendly and welcoming ... like they were inviting me in for a family reunion! Each with a different personality but all sharing a common bond of incredible hospitality ... kudos to them all! They could not be more accommodating and personable. The room was clean but small, BUT I was in NY for a quick trip to enjoy friends, dinner, and a show, was not looking to spend time in my room. The abundance of excellent service and personality of the staff made up for any square footage shortcomings in the room. Also to note, the cutest and most fantastic restaurant bar is located just beyond the lobby of the Walker, called Society Café. This too is a must visit for Cocktails, delicious Food and the same exemplary service as seen with the hotel itself. I wrote a separate review on the Society Café if you choose to read it!

I’m in love with this hotel. I really feel like a guest here the staff is so warm and welcoming, especially Alexis who checked me in - so sweet I feel like we have known each other for years. Rooms are so pretty, I have a balcony with a view of gorgeous, lit up Empire State Building. The bathroom is to-die-for with a giant soaking tub and separate shower. Impeccable vibe. Love.

This hotel is a scam, for the price they charge.
My colleague had another guest entering her room in the middle of the night, and the staff called it ‘minor glitch’ without even apologizing.
The rooms weren’t cleaned properly, if at all. There were days I arrived back at the room around 6pm and the room wasn’t cleaned.
The overall attitude of the staff was very unsatisfactory.
