Séjour : Materuni waterfalls, coffee and village experience day trip

One day trips from Moshi (or Arusha)

The lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro are home to the 'Wachagga' or Chagga tribe who primarily rely on farming for their livelihood as the foothills of Kilimanjaro produce a fertile and rich soil for coffee, banana and much more to grow. You can interact with the locals or spend your day in nature at the Materuni waterfalls and village, Marangu waterfalls and village or Mambori waterfalls and old Moshi. Just a little further out of Moshi you could also spend the day relaxing at the Chemka hot springs. Many of our day trips are combined with traditional or local lunches so you get a full Tanzanian experience.
