Certain parts of the service were great and others were not. Room service here is terrible. The mini sucks if you ask for ice or glasses, they tell you know which is crazy considering I’m spending over 400 a night. Valet is really expensive $58 so be prepared super gorgeous pool walk down to the ocean you can get free lounge, chairs and umbrellas an adult type of environment but also family friendly as well. I like how they separated the kid area toiletries aren’t good so make sure you bring your own

Claims to be a kid friendly, but unable to accommodate a 1pm late check out to facilitate the needs of my young children. Also put us on the same floor as the wedding event space which kept them up into the evening.

Jhail was amazing with the beach service. He took care of us and was very pleasant and personable asking how our food was, how long we were staying, if we needed anything else, how the book was I was reading, etc.

My recent stay at the Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, Florida, was marred by a troubling incident that left me deeply disappointed with both the hotel's security measures and their response to the situation. During a conference held at the hotel, myself and another attendee fell victim to theft when our wallets were stolen from our securely zipped bags. Shockingly, it appears the theft was perpetrated by a hotel banquet employee. What's even more concerning is that both our stolen credit cards were used to attempt purchases worth thousands of dollars at a nearby Apple Store, within 45 minutes after the theft occurred. Thankfully, both myself and the other guest received fraud alerts from our banks, preventing further unauthorized transactions. While I acknowledge the importance of personal responsibility, it's worth noting that the theft occurred despite our bags being securely zipped and left in a supposedly secure area during our lunch in the next room. Despite immediately informing the hotel staff of the theft, their response was utterly dismissive. There was a lack of empathy, assistance, and urgency in addressing the situation. Instead of taking swift action, we were left waiting for close to 24 hours before being advised to make a police report. Even then, the hotel's security team seemed uninterested in conducting a thorough investigation. As someone who has attended conferences at various hotels for years without incident, the lack of security and accountability at the Diplomat Hotel is deeply troubling. It's clear that there are serious flaws in their security protocols and staff training. In conclusion, my experience at the Diplomat Hotel was unacceptable, and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to others. It's imperative that the hotel management takes immediate action to address these issues and prioritize the safety and security of their guests as I've learned this we weren't the first to experience unfortunate circumstances like this.

Rented a beach day bed from resort pass for the day. Horrible experience. Rude security. Questioned us for not having wrist bands, when no one even gave us a wrist band. Blaming us instead of not educating their staff. Beyond slow beach food/drink service. We waited over 45 mins for drinks and almost an hour for food. Ridiculous. Will never come back. Don’t go there!

I lost my wallet in the premise which was found by a guest who turned it to the hotel security and eventually back to me intact. Tanya the hotel security made the process seamless and worry free. Good people are still around the world. Thank you Tanya.

Happy to write a review from a Hotel that I really enjoyed my stay for 6 days. First class resort, daily room service, excellent location. However, hospitality was just fair at best. When traveling and spending this kind of money you expect everyone to be extremely friendly, wasn’t the case. Also, like most hotel resorts these days to buy anything from coffee to meals they will take advantage of their guests with bloated prices. To add to that, you can pull a Coke off the shelf and bring it to a cashier there is always a prompt to tip, and it starts at 18%. You will go through tipping fatigue staying here. They will also put a massive hold on your credit card.. shameful

욕실에는 욕조가 구비되어 있고 화장실과 샤워부스가 각각 독립되어 있습니다. 치솔이나 치약 등 기본 세면도구는 개인적으로 가져와야 합니다.

Beautiful spot on the beach.
The restaurant and bar options connected to the resort were suitable for any occasion, whether it is lounging beachside/poolside having drinks or having a fancy date night dinner or simply meeting new friends at the bar. The rooms are spacious, and if you happen to get the right balcony, you get an amazing view of both beach and city. The pool is nice, and it is a short walk to the Hollywood beach boardwalk full of shops and eateries

This hotel was one of my favorites, but now it’s run down and dirty. The splash pad was damaged and blocked off. The pool deck looks like it needs to be pressure washed and refurbished. We had two connecting rooms; both were dusty, with mold spots in the bathroom and stains on the carpets and chairs. The AC is super loud and woke me up at night. During our stay, our 4-year-old son developed a sudden high fever, and we talked to the front desk to see if we could check out early because of medical reasons. The lady at the front desk said yes and to check out before 11 am. She said that we wouldn’t get charged for the second night. We were thankful. The following morning, another front desk agent assisted us and explained we would not get charged an early departure fee, but we wouldn’t get our honors points back. We were ok with that. We looked over the folio; the charges were around $1,200 for one night 2 rooms, and some soup and pizza. Everything looked fine. Then, a few days later, we were charged around $800. So I called the hotel, explained everything and was told a manger would call me. I called again a few times and it’s been a few weeks and no one has called me back.

From the moment we walked in the vibe was off. This was supposed to be Miami. There was no welcome. The one person at the checkin counter had so much negative attitude, it was palpable. No clear instructions about the resort itself were given. I had to ask 3 times for directions to my room. I was given 2 pieces of paper to read to know more about hotel events, wifi details and menus. Speaking of menus, in room dining should be called in room take out. Menu is bare. The food shows up in a take out type paper bag. The person delivering the food said NO greating when the room door was opened. Just extended his arm with the bag. Once I retrieved it, he turned and walked away (Odd????)The ceasar salad came from the back of a fridge. It was ICE cold????. Had no dressing. The added shrimp came in a separate container. Nothing tossed or dressed as expected and not as shown on their menu. The word hospitality has truly been lost here.

The hotel has a FedEx office where packages could be sent. A package was delivered for me. At checkin, an enquiry was made as to the location of the office. I was given vague directions to office 210. Unable to find said office, I approached 2 employees on 2 separate occassions, who were also unable to tell me where the office was because they didnt know. There was no visible signage directing to the office. After eventually stumbling on the office, the attendant there, while not rude, was sooooo disconnected from providing any service. Whomever, he was chatting with thru his earbuds had his attention.

I can say that the room is comfortable and nice. It is disappointing that the service spoils it all. Not on my list of resorts to return to.

I am here for a long-term care conference and, unfortunately, I must share that my experience did not meet the expectations set by both the price and the reputation of your establishment.Firstly, the cost of the stay was considerably high with very limited nearby alternatives for dining. This lack of options would have been slightly more acceptable if the resort's facilities were more accommodating. However, an incident occurred that highlighted this issue further. After purchasing a meal from a nearby establishment,, my friend and I were informed by a female staff member that we could not use the outside dining tables to eat our takeout, despite there being no prior indication of this policy. We were advised instead to eat in our room—a suggestion that felt both inconvenient and dismissive. Having spent thousands of dollars to attend a professional event at your resort, I expected a level of hospitality that encourages comfort and convenience, not restrictions and additional hidden terms. It is unsettling to feel penalized for wanting to enjoy a meal within the premises of the hotel.I am hopeful that you will consider this feedback as an opportunity to improve your service and facilities, ensuring that future guests do not encounter similar frustrations. A gesture of goodwill or a commitment to address these issues would also go a long way in restoring faith in your hospitality. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.
