To make matters worse. We had just spent a month travelling through Europe, Budapest, Prague, Berlin, etc. And this barge was the most expensive and worse of the lot. Do yourself a favour avoid.
Personal zwar bemüht, klar zu wenig.
Die Lage zur Altstadt und zum Bahnhof ist ein Vorteil.
Deutlich überteuert für die Leistung.
Petit déjeuner correct.
Petit bémol : pas de machine à café/ bouilloire pour un thé dans la chambre.
Séjour agréable en amoureux. Je recommande !
Mensen in het hotel erg vriendelijk.
Hygiëne was erg slecht. Vloer badkamer niet schoon gemaakt, terwijl hier ook een toilet in zit. Erg vies. Ventilatierooster bijna niet te zien door het stof dat uitpuilde. Op het overtrek van het topdekmatras lagen allemaal haren en viezigheid van vorige gasten. Dit was niet verschoond.
Spullen van de vorige gasten waren nog aanwezig in de kast en vieze doekjes achter het bed (zijn volgens mij geen snotdoeken...).
In het restaurant hebben we ruim 2 uur moeten wachten op een biefstuk die vervolgens rauw was (medium besteld).
Verder erg weinig positiefs te melden over het hotel.
Echt romantische locatie met mooie decor en sfeer.
Now that that statement is out the way, I will provide more details.
Our two-night stay in room 22 was marred by an uncomfortable outbreak of itchy, swollen bites, which I later confirmed were due to bed bugs. Despite discovering similar complaints in Google reviews (absent on booking.com), the hotel's response was inadequate. The staff admitted awareness of the ongoing infestation but blamed it on a wider problem originating from France. Our request for a different room was denied due to unavailability, leaving us no choice but to sleep in the same infested bed, albeit with new sheets. (and we slept fully clothed).
Adding insult to injury, the rest of the hotel experience was subpar. The breakfast was a letdown, the room felt cramped, and the overall ambiance fell short of expectations. While the staff's apologetic demeanor was noted, it did little to mitigate the overwhelming negativity of the experience. The refund we received doesn’t compensate for the discomfort and inconvenience of dealing with these persistent bites, nor the added hassle and expense of professionally cleaning our belongings to avoid bringing the infestation home. Proceed with caution!
Das Zimmer/ Bad etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber strahlt damit auch einen eigenen Charme aus. Die Lage ist ruhig und das Personal nett, zuvorkommend und freundlich.
Kleines Manko war die Erreichbarkeit des Bettes zur Fensterseite in Kabine 30 ( etwa 25cm zwischen Bett und Wand). Brötchen wurden auch vermisst, konnten aber durch andere Köstlichkeiten kompensiert werden.
Alles zusammengefasst eine schöne Unterkunft für einen Kurztrip ins schöne Brügge.
nous avons profités d'une cabine superbement décorée et avons passé des nuits bercés au gré des flots.
une expérience à renouveler sans hésitation, merci au personnel pour leur gentillesse et le bon accueil.

N'hésitez pas à prendre le petit supplément pour avoir la vue sur le canal qui est très appréciable le matin!
Petit déjeuner buffet très varié (viennoiseries, céréales, oeufs, légumes, saucisses, yaourts, fromage, il y en a pour tous les goûts!
