The hotel is extraordinarily nice. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxing. The food is delicious and has various cuisines offered. I definitely recommend the black angus steak and arayes. Would absolutely visit again without hesitation!

No words to describe this place!! One of the most beautiful and relaxing Hotels I’ve been… If you are looking for a calm and quiet experience you have to go to The Chedi Muscat.

Had a nice 4 night stay at the Chedi as part of our honeymoon trip. Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms, food at the restaurants was mixed, and service was too.
Positive - the hotel grounds are beautiful, rooms were quiet and comfortable, breakfast was good, and amenities were too. Amazing pool!
Can improve - general service was a bit lacking for a hotel of this quality and price. A few examples: (1) first night my wife notified the staff of a food intolerance and we were served food with that. (2) in “the restaurant” supposedly one of the best in Muscat, the food was okay - tagine and fish, but worst of all is we had asked for some gf bread and they just put cold plastic packets of bread on a plate. Not what you’d expect from a white tablecloth restaurant. (3) a few times we had asked for drinks - cocktails/coffees that were custom and almost every time they came out wrong the first time.
That said — we did notify management and they made it up to us the next night at dinner in the beach restaurant. The food there was excellent and would recommend it.
Overall - 4 stars, good stay and would stay again if we come back to Muscat but a few things to work on.

One of the best hotels I have ever been. You can sense the eye for every detail. The Chedi in Muscat is the kind of hotel where you instantly feel welcomed, taken care of and at peace. We left without any open wishes and will definitely return.

around 10 pm we ordered Shisha the service and attitude stuff were very bad even when I spoke with the supervisor they took our shisha and informed us that we were closed and people around us still had shisha. This is the First time I wanted to a luxury hotel with very bad stuff.

The resort was absolutely amazing! The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the view from the window was amazing on the sea, the beautiful gardens, the many swimming pools, and the variety of their services. I highly recommend it.

We had iftar at their restaurant, and it was amazing. The food was perfectly cooked and there were a lot of options.
Service was also great, shoutout to Gary who really went all the way to ensure we were comfortable.
The hotel is very clean, great atmosphere and just by the sea.

My wife and I stayed at the Chedi Muscat for 8 nights and we had a fantastic time. The pool area is wunderful with 3 pools to choose from. We would like to highlight the outstanding service of Pandiyan at the Serai pool. He really made us feel at home and took care of us so well (offering drinks all the time, helping us to find the perfect beach chair etc). This is especially true when you compare it to the service at the long pool, which was definitely not at the same level. Thank you Pandiyan for making our stay so perfect.

Kamers, meubilair en de algehele infrastructuur binnen in het hotel zijn uitermate gedateerd. 2 dagen problemen met het water (bruin/colakleur zandwater waardoor ze dit alles hebben moeten filteren overdag, 2 dagen later wederom problemen met als gevolg overdag geen water) Ter compensatie wel een fles prosecco aangeboden gekregen en een diner in 1 van de restaurants.. Heel veel lawaai van het overvliegen van de vliegtuigen zowel overdag als ‘s nachts. Lekker eten, bediening in de restaurants en aan het zwembad heel vriendelijk en professioneel vooral Pandiyan. Cleaning en laundry service zijn top! Aan de receptie helaas een heel stuk minder vriendelijk, zeer afhankelijk van persoon tot persoon. Vandaag de dag is dit hotel geen 5 sterren waard, 20 jaar geleden wanneer het hotel geopend werd zal dit wel het geval geweest zijn.

Sublime hôtel possédant 3 grandes piscines dont une de 100 mètres. L'hôtel est aussi somptueux en journée que la nuit (luminosité, installation, décor).
Un service de conciergerie au top, nous aidant même sur des activités réservés sur Internet sans passer par l'hôtel.
Excellent service en chambre, mini bar gratuit et réapprovisionné chaque jour, très bons produits à douche et de salle de bain.
Petit déjeuner très complet et choix xxl en nourriture et surtout exquis.
Pour le prix élevé (voire cher), une plage plus grande et mieux aménagée aurait été souhaitable. Autre bémol, la distance pour aller au centre et l'absence de navette.
