Pool bar charged for ultra premium tequila when house margaritas were ordered. Response was "sorry, I just make the drinks".

This place sucks. The spa DOESNT include the pool and beach and they don’t tell you that up front or how you can access those. They don’t do anything to help you get what you asked for. The staff is not accommodating or willing to help. You are better off going somewhere else. It doesn’t make sense for the pool to be separate from the spa.

We are here currently and not impressed. Pre- communication with hotel about special occasions (milestone anniversary and birthdays) and not one person acknowledged in any way or even said Haply anniversary/birthday. Lukewarm front desk greeting (polite but no personalization or made to feel appreciated for status). Waited 2+ hours for room despite the reach out twice to ask for early check in. No Gold status upgrade (until hours later after asking by then already unpacked and despite multiple categories being available). Room has a view of a roof with air conditioning equipment- “city view” is a generous term. Stepped on a rusty metal bar in the pool no one seemed too concerned. Then a huge bloody bandage floated by us while in the pool. Reported all of this to the hotel manager who seemed disinterested at best and still even he couldn’t muster a “happy anniversary” or a “thanks for your loyalty”. Asked about upgrade, he begrudgingly said he might have an upgrade called back hours after we checked into room after we had already unpacked with an option (why didn’t you give it to us at check in?!?) . Room itself (other than view) is decently nice. And the guys at the pool were really great.

We had just stayed at The Edition and a JW Marriott elsewhere in FL last week and the service, catering to guests, rooms- blew the Ritz away. Seems like a brand resting in its previous brand “glory”. As a TA, definitely cannot recommend and having stayed in Miami Beach many times, many other “lesser” named hotels have far, far better service.

Had a great time here. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are amazing and always ready to help. We got a city view room on the 11th floor and it was quite nice and spacious. We really liked the bathroom products except for the toilet paper! The shower was a bit small considering how large the bathroom was.

The beach access isn't too bad and the pool area was very nice. The pool is bigger than it seems but unfortunately it's very shallow. There is a really nice gym on the 3rd floor with lots of equipment and nice flavoured water. Coconut while we were there.

There is a $55 resort fee which includes gelato in the lobby from 4-6, a cocktail for 2 at the pool side restaurant, 2 hour bike rental. Overall not really worth it but all the hotels in South Beach have resort fees so that was expected.

There are so many good restaurants nearby and the trail that goes all the way to the pier park was stunning so we would definitely stay again.

I was visiting a guest here. I didn't stay here but I had to leave a review for the exceptional customer service I encountered. Warren at the front desk was so kind and personable. He helped with everything I needed and was so friendly. I’ve never been treated so well at a hotel. Warren needs a raise ????????

kids running upstairs all night called the fromt desk 7 times. no one can sleep in my family !! Asked for water it took 3 hours. Asked for tea had to remind them. Paid way too much money to stay here. Stay at Loews !!!

Stayed here many times. The property is very nice. Everyone is very accommodating from the moment you checkin. We spent the Easter holiday here and it was busy but the guest services from everyone was still top notch which for me is most important. My family spends a lot of time at the pool and outdoor team makes sure your all set and have what you need. The team at the bar/restaurant on the lower deck by the beach were fantastic as well. Thank you we will be back.

Not even close to the standards you would expect of a Ritz Carlton. Lackluster service at best, terribly overcrowded pool area, breakfast was dreadful especially at the incredibly high price point, beach area service also terrible including beach attendant throwing our things in the sand while at lunch in the hotel and then saying we were gone too long. Extremely disappointing RC hotel, but consistent with other reviews.

My wife and I stayed at the ritz SoBe recently. Our stay was up to expectations but we will not be frequenting that location again nor Krigler Parfume. We walked past the boutique on our way to dinner. As an avid user of the parfume over the years I wanted to make two purchases. We walked into the boutique prepared to purchase the Jackie O scent for my wife and something for myself. I saw a bottle that interested me and I picked it up when the gentleman in the pic snatched it out of my hand and very rudely chastised me. I’m a 60yo man and haven’t been treated this rudely. I will never purchase Krigler again and I would definitely advise others not to patronize this location. His behavior is disgusting and beyond reprehensible. This is an extremely bad look and will communicate to my friends family and colleagues whom go to the ritz and use Krigler brand.

Other than the pool area, this hotel absolutely sucks. There was moldy food sitting outside my room, the coffee table had a huge fracture with a rusty nail sticking out, and the pool area, where the service was pretty good, was closed to us because of a wedding one day. Overall, this was a terrible experience for >$1k/night.

They also have free coffee until 8am, because who would want coffee after 8am on a Sunday?

I stayed here about two weeks ago. Overall I would recommend. Highlights included breakfast, gym, 24hr pool with live music at times, and good room service. Only thing is that one night our ac went out one night and it didn’t get fixed until the morning. Also the phone in our room was outdated and we had a hard time communicating with the front desk ordering room service. The balcony was also a little under cleaned. The beach service was decent but slow. The view was nice but I would look into other options if that’s why you’re choosing to book as I’ve seen better in such area.

Best hotel I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Every single staff member was engaging and asked if I needed help with anything. Restaurants and bars were top notch. Warren was the first member to greet me and he helped me each day I stayed there. I would recommend this place to anyone.
