The BIG negative was no A/C in the room (80 deg F outside) and has little airflow when you open the two single double pane windows.
I didn’t sleep the two nights that i stayed (thin walls, neighbors returning from an evening put at 2am and talking loudly, drilling on some building where the sound was evident at 8am in the morning, and squawking pigeons.
From other reviews I’ve read, seems this is a typical situations with many other visitors put in the dungeon rooms. I think this is a bait and switch situation. Over priced and not a 4-star hotel.

Nel complesso sicuramente ci tornerò sicuramente
Firstly, the room's only window was equipped with shutters that could not be opened, denying us any natural light throughout our stay. This made the room feel claustrophobic and necessitated the use of artificial lighting, which, frustratingly, flickered irritatingly. The bathroom door was also malfunctioning, difficult to open and close properly. To compound our discomfort, we experienced a complete power outage in our room for over 8 hours one night, preventing us from charging our devices and forcing us to navigate the dark space.
On a positive note, we were offered complimentary breakfast, which was not included in our original booking. While we appreciated this gesture, we found that if one were to pay for it, the cost would not be justified given the quality and quantity of the food available, even early in the morning.
Despite the prime location and the politeness of the hotel staff, these issues significantly impacted our stay. It's with regret that I say we wouldn't choose to stay at the Duca D’Alba Hotel again.
Will definitely stay again.

Le débit de l’eau de la douche très très peu puissant pas évident pour une femme de se laver les cheveux la bas car pas de pression!
Les produits de soin on ne sait pas ce que c’est il est indiqué shampooing sur tout
Une bouilloire et du thé et café minute son présent dans la chambre. Un frigo. Une petite terrasse. Ascenseur très petit et lent.
Literie impeccable d’un blanc irréprochable.
Mais malgres ça si je retourne à Rome je reprends cet hôtel
La única pega es el ruido que se oye hasta la madrugada por un pub que hay en la misma calle.
Las habitaciones son pequeñas también.
El servicio del hotel es excelente y te atienden muy bien desde un principio.
Merece la pena por la ubicación y tener varios monumentos en la zona como el coliseo romano apenas a 10 minutos andando.
La fontana di trevi también está cerca, aunque hay que andar más.
En la zona hay varios restaurantes para comer o cenar.
