The only 2 area of improvement would be that the WiFi was weak and not usable, and that the gym opens at 9am with the spa, so considering breakfast ends at 10am, makes the gym not relevant for a pre-breakfast workout.

We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced with the Wi-Fi during your stay which is truly unusual, we understand the importance of a reliable internet connection for our guests, and we will investigate and address the issue to ensure a stronger and more consistent signal shall you be so kind to let us know if you encountered this issue everywhere or in a particular area of our Resort.
Regarding the gym's operating hours, please be infomred that the gym is available to be used as of 7am, we apologize for any wrong information given.

Solo un piccolo appunto.. a volte il servizio (specialmente in piscina) è veramente troppo lento. I camerieri sono un po' smemorati.. un pomeriggio ho dovuto chiedere un Gin Tonic per 3 volte.. fino a che non sono andato a prendermelo io al banco. E non è stato l'unico caso. Not Good.
Dimenticavo... cibo strepitoso! Sopratutto al Cape Aspro che, personalmente, ho preferito di gran lunga all'Apollo che, comunque, è di ottimissima qualità! Ma è giudizio assolutamente personale.
In conclusione, non credo tornerò più al Columbia ma semplicemente perché non amo visitare gli stessi luoghi e alloggiare negli stessi posti, ma di sicuro conserverò un bellissimo ricordo (forse uno dei più belli in termini di vacanza).
Grazie per aver condiviso la sua esperienza nel nostro resort. Siamo entusiasti di sapere che abbiate trascorso una settimana indimenticabile con la vostra famiglia e che abbiate apprezzato i vari aspetti del soggiorno, tra i quali la camera, la pulizia e l'atmosfera in generale.

First of all, the staff all around the hotel - receptionists (especially thanks to Alina, Thomas and one kind lady that I forgot her name, I am very sorry!), Housekeepers, waitresses, bartenders, lifeguards, Gardners... Everyone was so kind, nice and welcoming and made our stay much more fun and relaxing.
The rooms are so tidy (there is even a lovely lady that comes every evening to replace towels and refresh the stocks if needed and gives chocolate bars). They are super big, got a nice view to the pool with a cute balcony, parking slot nearby, and all the facilities are required for a good stay.
The food was excellent. In the breakfast they offer a variety of fresh and baked food - salads, pastries, cooked stuff, eggs in different ways, juice, coffee (good one) and more. We dined in the night and the afternoon in several of the restaurants of the hotel and they were all excellent, a bit pricey.
The jym is very well equipped, everything is new, clean and works fantastic. I wish we had time to try the spa treatments.
All in all - 10/10, will definitely come back and recommend. Thank you ????

Al Columbia invece è stato l’opposto!
La sua posizione affacciata sul mare è semplicemente mozzafiato, offrendo una vista panoramica indimenticabile. L'attenzione al dettaglio e il servizio impeccabile del personale sono evidenti fin dall'arrivo.
Le camere sono lussuose e ben arredate, con letti comodissimi che garantivano un riposo perfetto. La pulizia era impeccabile in tutta la struttura, incluse la piscine e le aree comuni.
L'hotel offre diverse opzioni per il cibo, ed ogni pasto(dalla colazione alla cena) è stato delizioso. La blue moon night in particolare è stata un'esperienza straordinaria.
La spa dell'hotel è un vero paradiso di relax, con una vasta gamma di trattamenti e servizi benessere inclusa una palestra ben attrezzata. Le attività offerte, come sport ed escursioni, sono molteplici e per ogni gusto.
Fantastica l’aerea lettini in spiaggia a due metri da un mare meraviglioso.
Utilissima anche l’applicazione che ti consente di aprire la porta della camera dal cellulare, chattare con la reception per ogni esigenza e/o prenotazione ristoranti, consultare i menù e mille altre funzioni veramente utili.
In sintesi, il Columbia Beach Resort è un'oasi di lusso e tranquillità che consiglio vivamente a chiunque desideri una fuga indimenticabile.
Un ringraziamento a tutto lo staff ed in particolare a Francesca della reception, Marius del ristorante, Miguel e Bianca del bar e le ragazze del mini club(altro servizio utilissimo per chi ha figli)!
A pensarci bene l’hotel ci ha creato un piccolo problema……come dover organizzare le vacanze ogni anno inserendo obbligatoriamente almeno 7/10 giorni al Columbia!!!????

Leggiamo con piacere il suo meraviglioso e dettagliato commento sul suo recente soggiorno al Columbia Beach Resort, è commovente sapere che gli ospiti che ritornano trovano la loro esperienza migliore rispetto al precedente soggiorno.
La vista mozzafiato sul mare è davvero una delle caratteristiche più straordinarie del nostro resort, siamo lieti che vi abbia lasciato un'impressione così duratura. Siamo lieti che abbiate trovato le camere confortevoli e ben arredate, garantendovi un perfetto riposo. Mantenere i più alti standards di pulizia in tutta la nostra struttura, comprese le piscine e le aree comuni, è per noi una priorità assoluta.
I nostri servizi di SPA e benessere, insieme alla varietà di attività che offriamo, sono stati pensati per soddisfare le diverse preferenze di ogni ospite. È bello leggere che abbiate apprezzato le nostre diverse opzioni culinarie, dalla colazione alla cena, e che la cena organizzata in occasione della “Blue Moon” sia stata un'esperienza così memorabile. Inoltre, siamo lieti che abbiate usufruito della nostra applicazione, con tutte le informazioni a portata di mano.
Il nostro team è orgoglioso del proprio lavoro ed è fantastico sapere che la loro attenzione ai dettagli ed il servizio impeccabile sono riconosciuti dai nostri ospiti. E faremo in modo di trasmettere i complimenti a Francesca, Marius, Miguel, Bianca e al team di The Den Kids Club, saranno entusiasti di sapere che i loro sforzi hanno reso il vostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole.

La ringraziamo per aver dedicato del tempo alla condivisione della vostra visita al Beach Bar del nostro Resort.
Per quanto riguarda il prezzo del caffè, comprendiamo il suo turbamento. I nostri prezzi si basano su vari fattori tra i quali la qualità dei prodotti che offriamo, il costo di manutenzione del resort, la disponibilitá che i nostri clienti hanno di godere dei vari impianti di svago e varie tipologie di bar e ristoranti e l'esperienza complessiva che miriamo a fornire. Ci sforziamo costantemente di trovare un equilibrio tra l'offerta di servizi di alta qualità ed il mantenimento di prezzi adeguati alla categoria del nostro resort, in linea con i prezzi di hotels della stessa categoria a Cipro. Mi permetta quindi di dissentire con la sua asserzione di “furto”, sicuramente scaturita dalla frustrazione del disservizio che ci impegniamo a correggere, poiché i nostri prezzi sono pubblicamente esposti ed il nostro resort opera in maniera totalmente trasparente.
Ci scusiamo pertanto per il ritardo del servizio da voi percepito durante l’ordine del caffè. Il nostro personale è preparato per fornire un servizio rapido e cortese a tutti i nostri ospiti e ci dispiace che questa non sia stata la tua esperienza. Il suo feedback evidenzia un'area in cui possiamo migliorare la nostra formazione e i nostri processi per garantire che ogni ospite riceva un servizio tempestivo e attento.
Per quanto riguarda l’acqua di mare, siamo sorpresi che voi l’abbiate trovata sporca, a dire il vero, e da quanto puó leggere in altre recensioni, il mare nella baia di Pissouri è fra i piú puliti di Cipro. Se ci fossero state alghe il giorno della sua visita, la informiamo che si tratta di un fenomeno naturale ciclico che a volte si presenta lungo tutta la costa dell’isola.
In riferimento al suo gentile commento sull'area della piscina, comprendiamo il disturbo che alcuni nostri piccoli ospiti, mi permetta di sottolineare: non senza controllo, possa aver creato. Le assicuriamo che il nostro Team non risparmia energie nel creare un ambiente accogliente tenendo presente l'importanza di mantenere un'atmosfera tranquilla per tutti gli ospiti. Per questo motivo, e visto che il nostro resort offre il beneficio di due piscine distanti l’una dall’altra, abbiamo deciso di dedicarne una al relax dove i bambini possono comunque nuotare insieme ai genitori mantenendo peró un tono di voce moderato e l’altra dove, sotto la supervisione attenta dei nostri bagnini professionali, i bambini possono giocare in sicurezza in modo che altri ospiti possano godersi il loro tempo all’interno o a bordo della stessa piscina.
Ci impegniamo a migliorare continuamente i nostri servizi e ad affrontare i problemi che lei ha sollevato e la ringraziamo per il suo punto di vista, che comprendiamo essere soggettivo, ringraziandola per l’onesto contributo.
Ancora una volta, ci scusiamo per gli eventuali disagi durante la sua visita ad uno dei nostri bars. Grazie per aver portato queste questioni alla nostra attenzione e speriamo di avere l'opportunità di darvi il benvenuto per un'esperienza più positiva.

We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay with us, being a family friendly resort as well as known for relaxing holiday, our aim is to create a welcoming environment for all customers.
Regarding the incident at the main pool, as personally clarified with you we do allow children at the west lagoon pool, however we kindly ask parents to help us maintaining a quite atmosphere for all guests. My intervention, after my colleague by the pool informed you prior to it, did not mean to be abrupt but necessary after having received other guests’ complaints. While for your observation about other children playing loudly later, we do not have records of such an incident as our Pool Attendants intervene when such situation occur without discrimination of customers or ages.
As for our facilities, we understand your frustration if you felt there were limitations on their usage. We would like to clarify that while most of our amenities are open to all guests, certain areas or activities might have specific guidelines to ensure everyone's enjoyment and safety. And these information are openly disclosed on our website, rules and regulations and also stated on our resort APP, readily available for all our guests to consult. Moreover, signs are available by the west pool suggesting our guests with children to enjoy the other swimming pool for livelier swimming.
I apologize if during any part of our conversation I sounded rude, truly not in my intentions, rest assured we all appreciate your patronage and decision to stay at our Resort and we would love the opportunity to make amends and welcome you and your family back for a more enjoyable stay in the future.

It is not a new hotel but the service is simply , perfect.
The rooms are spacious and clean
The food is fresh and tasty
And the pools are nice and quiet although we came with three kids
The beach is with rocks and not send
The location is not close to the airport but we don’t mind
If you’re looking for a hotel with amazing atmosphere and quiet this is the place for you
